Valve Positioners

Valve positioners are classified depending on the input signal, actuator type, and actuator function. Sense positioners can be pneumatic, electropneumatic, I/P converters with or without HART communication, and Hall effect. There is also a line of accessories such as boosters, mounting brackets, etc.

Digital Positioner Just Right

Easy calibration, digital display and auto setup

The PD100 intelligent valve positioner is IP66 rated and designed to operate in the harshest environmental conditions in the industrial sector. Its low air consumption and fast response contribute to efficient operation that withstands vibrations in most industrial plant environments. The PD100 is compact and can be installed on rotary or linear actuators and is used in applications with single or double-acting actuators. The positioner is powered directly by the 4-20mA control current loop.

The PD100 family of digital positioners operates on both rotary and linear valves. They offer excellent cost-effectiveness and are easy to install. Certified with Ex tb (Enclosure Protection), they are suitable for installation in explosive atmospheres containing combustible dust in zones 21 and 22.

Complete Digital Positioner

Optional HART and multifunction display with configuration and auto setup features

The PD200 intelligent valve positioner is IP66 rated and designed to operate in the harshest environmental conditions in the industrial sector. Its low air consumption and fast response contribute to efficient operation that withstands vibrations in most industrial plant environments. The PD200 is compact and can be installed on rotary or linear actuators and is used in applications with single or double-acting actuators. The positioner is powered directly by the 4-20mA control current loop. Optionally, it can be supplied with HART technology and can be installed in explosion-risk areas. It is certified as intrinsically safe and has an IP66 rating of protection against liquid ingress.

The PD200 family of digital positioners can be used in rotary or linear valves and offers a complete solution for alarms and diagnostics, making the factory more productive and reducing downtime. Low air consumption and fast response contribute to efficient operation and the ability to withstand vibrations in most harsh environments. It has an optional HART communication module and a 4mA to 20mA return signal.

PFLEX Analog Positioners

Positioner for Rotary or Linear Valves

PFLEX positioners receive an input signal from the controller and modulate the supply pressure to the control valve actuator, providing precise valve stem positioning proportional to the input signal. They can be installed on various types of actuators and have a robust housing for mounting in harsh industrial environments without any loss of precision.

The PFLEX positioner receives an input signal from the controller and modulates the supply pressure to the actuator/control valve, providing precise valve stem positioning proportional to the input signal. Its versatile design, combined with high-quality construction, allows the PFLEX to be used with various types of pneumatic actuators. It is built for use in harsh industrial environments without any loss of precision.

PD Hart Digital Positioners

Digital Positioner for Rotary or Linear Valves

The PD Hart family of digital positioners operates on rotary or linear valves. They feature a HART communication module and a 4mA to 20mA signal.

The PD HART digital positioner, through digital communication, uses the HART protocol to receive an input signal and control the supply pressure to the control valve actuator, providing precise positioning of its stem.
The product can be configured via the HART protocol through local adjustment with a magnetic key, or remotely, through the HPC401 configurator based on Palm OS.

Configuration tools include auto-tuning with automatic actuator performance and stroke procedure, flow characterisation, and valve response time. It can be mounted on any model of globe and rotary actuators, single and double acting, from any manufacturer.
