Rotary Valve Position Monitors

The monitoring system of rotary valves 90 degrees is designed for automating a mechanical device that allows local or remote signaling of the open or closed position of the valve.

The monitors were designed to signal and control rotating valves, which rotate 1/4 turn (90 °), basically consisting of two inductive or magnetic proximity sensors mounted on the same enclosure. For the monitor to be able to identify the open or closed position of the valve, we also provide a trigger, consisting of a flag that fits directly to the axis of the pneumatic actuator (NAMUR standard), and has two targets that actuate the monitor at both valve positions. The monitors are available in the conventional versions (point-to-point) or for industrial networks, AS-Interface, Devicenet or Profibus DP. A major advantage of the models for industrial networks is the possibility of the monitor transmitting a diagnosis, especially of short circuit or opening of the coil of the solenoid.
