IDC RAST 2.5 with Through Hole Design
Monoplug 2.5 is a RAST-compliant insulation displacement connector (IDC) designed for efficient assembly across manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated production environments. Its through-hole design supports daisy chain and bus applications without requiring a separate cover, and it can mate with PCB-mounted headers or directly to the edge of a PCB using a frame. Available in 2 to 13 positions, it supports 24–22 AWG wires with insulation diameters of 1.2 to 1.6 mm, and offers front or dual keying options. The printed circuit board (PCB) connectors are available in standard through hole (T/H) or edge mount versions and may be fully or selectively loaded.
