Broad Range of Terminal Housing Solutions
Along with TE’s large portfolio of terminals, including FASTON terminals, Positive Lock terminals and FASTIN-FASTON terminals, we offer a variety of housings that are compatible with one or more of these quick connect product families. Housings are available for straight or right-angle terminals, in single or multi-position versions, and with multiple flammability and high temperature options. These housings provide insulation and protection, while also unlocking manufacturing efficiencies with error-proof designs and consolidation of multiple terminals into a single connector. Housings are also available for specialty applications, including hermetic header pins for compressors, gas igniters and resistive heating elements.

The Positive Lock multi-position connector with extra low insertion force (X-LIF) terminals was developed to meet industry demands for improved manufacturing efficiency and easier part mating.
FASTIN-FASTON receptacles are used in housings with up to 8 positions for wire harness applications requiring coupling or multi-position connections.
Housings accepting Positive Lock Mark II and FASTON receptacles for use with infinite switches commonly used in resistive heating elements.
Cluster blocks offer manufacturers of air conditioning and refrigeration products a low-cost, fully insulated, quick-connect means of electrically connecting sealed hermetic header pins on the interior and exterior of compressors.
The FASTIN-FASTON RAST 5 connector system is designed to accept 6.3 mm FASTIN-FASTON tabs in panel or motor mount housings meeting the RAST 5 standard.
The Positive Lock RAST 5 connector system features receptacle housings meeting the RAST 5 standard and accepting the popular Positive Lock Mark III receptacles.
