The wiring harness interconnects the control board to the various components throughout the dishwasher, such as motors, heating elements, water pumps and valves, sensors, door locks, etc. A typical wiring harness would include power and signal connectors, terminals and splices, heat shrink tubing and labels.
The control board is the brain of the appliance. It accepts inputs from the user through buttons, switches or touch devices; and actuates the motors, heating elements, water pumps and valves to perform the chosen task. A typical control board will have wire-to-board power and signal connectors, sockets and relays.
