Conductive Adhesive Tape

Electrically conductive tape addresses the demanding needs of modern electronic applications from EMI/RFI shielding and grounding to thermal management. Available in copper, tinned copper, or aluminum variants.

TE Connectivity’s Conductive Adhesive Tape delivers reliable shielding, grounding, and thermal control for electronics. Its foil-based tape comes in self-wound or release liner formats. Double-sided adhesive versions offer flexible integration and dependable conductivity across applications.

Materials

  • Soft Copper
  • Soft copper with double sided adhesive
  • Tin/Silver clad copper
  • Soft Aluminum
  • Embossed copper
  • Embossed Tin clad copper
  • Embossed aluminum

Applications

  • Temporary sealing of gaps for EMC testing
  • PCB shields
  • Cable shields
  • Shielded room seams
  • Electrical grounding and conducting tape
  • Static charge draining
  • Cable and connector shielding
EMI / RFI shielding for transformers, cables, cabinets, motors and components

Benefits

  • Eliminate electrical interferences
  • Solderable heating elements
  • Bonding of conductive surfaces

Availability

Conductive Adhesive Tapes are available in soft copper (35 µm), tinned copper (35 µm), and aluminum (60 µm). Tinned copper offers enhanced corrosion resistance and is ideal for applications requiring direct contact with the tape surface. Embossed variants improve contact reliability and solderability. Tapes are typically supplied in 20-meter rolls, with standard widths of 12.7 mm and 25.4 mm. Options include self-wound (without a release liner), paper release liner, and double-sided adhesive versions (suffix “-D”). Die-cut and kiss-cut formats are available for easy integration.
