FASTON Receptacles Series
FASTON Tabs
Weld Type, Stud Mounted, Wire Crimp, High Temperature, AMPLIVAR
TE offers a variety of FASTON tabs in an assortment of configurations. The product line includes various weld type tabs, stud mounted tabs and wire crimp tabs. Also included in the product offering are high temperature tabs and test tabs. The TE high-temperature tab is designed to crimp to heating element wire. The tab end protrudes through a ceramic/high-temperature housing for mating with either a standard 250 or 312 FASTON receptacle.
250 Series Test Tabs (Mate with all “250” Series FASTON Receptacles)
The mechanical tab is mounted onto TE gauge 100505 for testing of receptacle insertion/extraction requirements. Double-ended test tabs are also available for electrical, and temperature rise testing. TE has readily available a variety of UL 310 constructed tabs for mechanical testing of FASTON, Ultra-Fast FASTON and Positive Lock receptacles. These tabs are designed for electrical test setups as outlined in UL 310.
FASTON Printed Circuit Board Tabs & Receptacles
TE Connectivity offers a complete line of FASTON printed circuit board (PCB) tabs and receptacles, designed for use in switches and control boards across the globe. The product range includes straight and right-angle tabs in .250, .187, and .110 series, as well as vertical receptacles in .250/.205 x .032 or .025 formats, available with standard or low insertion force options. These components are offered in both loose piece and strip form, with strip products compatible with industry-standard automatic insertion equipment or TE’s own full line of insertion tools.
FASTON Housings
FASTON housings are designed to be used with the FASTON terminal line and are available in a variety of configurations including straight, right-angle, multiple position, and special application housings. They come in sizes ranging from .312, .250, .205, .187, and .110 series, and are made from various materials with different temperature ratings, including V-2 and V-0 rated options. These housings accept FASTON receptacles and include special connectors for applications such as microswitches, gas valves, wax motors, and water valves. Additionally, translucent plastic insulating sleeves are available in both straight and flag configurations for added protection and versatility.
