Overview
Compatible with 6-8 AWG (10-16 mm²) PV cables rated for 1500 VDC solar applications including inverters, microinverters, combiner boxes, and DC optimizers.

TE SOLARLOK PV5 Photovoltaic Connectors accommodate outer cable diameters from 6.9 mm (0.27 in) to 10 mm (0.39 in) and deliver a 1500 VDC rating. Compliant with UL, IEC, and NEC 2008/2011 standards, they are compatible with SOLARLOK PV4-S, SOLARLOK Safe Locks, and SLK 2.0 connectors.

Featuring Standard Solar Interface (SSI), our SOLARLOK PV5 connectors support versatile applications in junction boxes, panel-mounted installations, and harnesses. Easy to install for both machine and field applications, they meet NEC decoupling requirements.

Answer: All TE PV connectors, including PV5, PV4-S, and SLK 2.0, use the Standard Solar Interface - providing smooth and reliable connections.

 

Question: Can TE SOLARLOK PV5 connectors be unlocked and reused after installation?

Answer: Yes, our SOLARLOK PV5 connectors can be unlocked and remated with other connectors after installation. However, like all other solar connectors in the market, they must not be reinstalled on a different cable.

  • UL Thermal Cycle (UL 1703 §35): Not required under load; PV5 completed 200 cycles at rated current.
