Broad range of DDR memory sockets

A dual inline memory module (DIMM) socket is made of a series of dynamic, random-access memory integrated circuits. These modules are mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB). For DDR2 and DDR3 DIMM sockets, the pin count is 240 pins; for DDR4 and DDR5 DIM sockets, the pin count is 288 pins.

Product Features

Our DIMM sockets are designed for industry standard JEDEC DIMMs. Our portfolio includes solutions for the latest fifth generation (DDR5), as well as prior DDR and SDRAM memory modules. Our DIMM sockets are engineered for reliable connection to standard memory modules for desktop PCs, servers, mass storage, and various communication memory applications. All sockets provide end latches for module retention and ejection as well as mechanical voltage keying. The contact design protects against module stubbing. Sockets options include vertical solder tail, vertical press fit, right angle, and 25 degree angle.

DDR5 DIMM Socket

DDR5 DIMM Socket

Generation 5 double data rate (DDR5) DIMM sockets provide 2 times better data rate and bandwidth than DDR4 DIMM sockets. These SMT sockets provide better heat performance as well as SI performance compared to DDR4 DIMM sockets.

DDR4 DIMM Socket

DDR4 DIMM Socket

Generation 4 double data rate (DDR4) DIMM sockets provide a smaller pitch and higher pin count than the DDR3 DIMM product line.

DDR3 DIMM Socket

DDR3 DIMM Socket

Generation 3 double data rate (DDR3) DIMM sockets provide interconnection to memory modules for notebook and desktop PCs, servers, mass storage, and various communication memory applications.

DDR2 DIMM Socket

DDR2 DIMM Socket

Generation 2 double data rate (DDR2) DIMM connectors are available in through hole, surface mount, and press-fit terminations.

Mini DIMM Sockets

Mini dual inline memory module (mini DIMM) sockets are commonly designed to connect processor module cards to printed circuit boards. Mini DIMM sockets offer the reliability and features of a full-size DIMM connector while saving essential board space. These come in right-angle configurations and can be installed by hand or by automatic application tooling (typically vacuum pick and place). Our mini DIMM sockets are commonly used in applications such as telecommunications, personal computers, high-end computing, and servers.
