I/O Modules
TE Connectivity's I/O module system allows for true distribution along with input and output elements. New enclosure with more internal space for connections. Plastic or metal enclosure options. They provide a simple and secure connection for up to 4 field elements, using a housing with internal terminals that allow field mounting with a high degree of protection against liquid ingress (IP66). Also, allow for true network distribution with up to 8 input/output elements.
I/O modules with only digital inputs are designed to operate with proximity sensors (inductive, capacitive, etc.) as well as dry contacts (pushbuttons, control buttons, switches, limit switches, etc.). Modules with relay inputs and outputs can switch AS currents and are ideal for MCC automation, as they allow direct connection of motor contactors. The modules can be powered via an external power supply, where the voltage available to the inputs will be the same as that supplied by the power supply and must be between 10 and 30 Vdc. In the AS-Interface power supply option, the voltage for supplying the input elements can reach 29.7 Vdc.
