BECOME A RAYCHEM MVCA CERTIFIED INSTALLER

Gain the technical knowledge and practical skills necessary to successfully install TE Connectivity (TE) Raychem MVCA products, ranging from above 5/8 kV - 42 kV. Our installer certification, valid for two years, is a combination of training and assessment for Raychem terminations, separable connectors, polymeric joints and transition joints.

SELECT THE CONTENT OF THE CERTIFICATION
Training
1 - 3 day courses

• Theory classes: 1 - 4 hours based on products selected

• Practical classes: 0.5 - 2.5 days for single or multiple products

Assessment
1 - 2 day exams

• Competency assessment:

   0.5 day per product category

Language

• English

   Other languages on demand

Participants

• Minimum 6 participants per course

TRAINING PREREQUISITES

• You are knowledgeable about MV cable systems, MV cable constructions and screen types,
MV electrical systems and function of MVCA products

• You have at least 1 year of experience in MV cable preparation and jointing at 5/8 kV - 42 kV

• You follow health and safety protocols in MV site environment

TOOLS REQUIRED

• To practice the installation with your regular tools, please bring your own. Otherwise, tools will be provided by TE

• If you use customized or specific tools, you must bring these to the training sessions

• Bring your own appropriate protective equipment: overalls, safety shoes or boots and safety glasses
