AMPACT ILD-II In-Line Disconnect Switches provide reliable sectionalizing of overhead power lines for maintenance or emergency isolation, reducing outage time. Standard TE AMPACT tap application procedures are used to make electrical and mechanical connections simultaneously. This installation applies to the bolted tap configuration and is achieved through mechanical fastening of the tap to the conductor.
