A connector receptacle is mounted on the housing wall and wired to a PCB via an additional board connector. This allows for front loading of the receptacle, compensation of mechanical tolerances and housing flexibility with a standardized PCB

A complete PCB receptacle is soldered to the PCB and then mounted onto the housing wall. This method reduced manual labor compared to a connector with wires

A PCB receptable without M12 treat is soldered to a PCB. The M12 treat is integral part of the housing. Depending on the housing concept this method can be more cost efficient in high volumes
