Avian Flight Diverter

By drawing attention to the lines earlier, large fowls such as geese and swans will have enough time to change their direction and avoid potentially fatal consequences. The Avian Flight Diverter is compatible with all types of conductors and is RFI free to 69 kV. The diverter incorporates a high visibility prismatic reflecting strip that allows birds to see the diverter even in low light and fog conditions. A glow in the dark strip is also used to extend the diverter’s effectiveness at dusk, for birds returning to their roosts. The materials used in the diverter are extremely UV stable, track resistant, and are designed to give superior performance for many years of service. 

The diverter is easily installed with a hot stick on conductors ranging from #6 - 795. By simply flipping the diverter over the conductor and tightening the shearbolt clamp until the bolt head snaps free, the proper clamping

force is achieved. The diverter is easily removed with a 15/16” socket attachment.
