Street Lighting Receptacles

Street lighting receptacles are divided into two main categories. Twist-lock photocontrol sockets like NEMA and Zhaga are located on the top of the luminaire head and connect the power supply to lighting controls. They manage dimming and on/off schedules. Standard convenience outlets like GFCI receptacles are added to the pole for uses like plug-in tools, smart sensors, or holiday lighting.
