Street Lighting Connectors

Street lighting connectors are electrical fittings that are specially designed for powering and protecting roadway luminaires. There are three main types of street lighting connectors. Breakaway connector kits are water resistant, typically at the base of light poles, and are designed to safely disconnect if a vehicle hits the light standard. Direct burial splice connectors are used along roadside trenches or underground in handholds to connect streetlight conductors to the main power lines. Smart lighting receptacles often integrate smart node connections that allow for remote control dimming and diagnostic performances.
