MMCX (Micro-Miniature Coaxial) RF Connectors are tiny snap-on coaxial connectors that are designed for high-density, space-constrained applications. Their snap-on locking mechanism allows for secure, easy, and frequent connections and disconnections. They are like MCX connectors but are much smaller in size at 2.4 mm to 2.5 mm in diameter. They feature a 360-degree rotation ability, have broadband capability from DC to 6 GHz, and have a 50-ohm impedance. Common applications for MMCX connectors include connecting cables to earphone drivers in high end in-ear monitors (IEMs); wireless/telecommunications like Wi-Fi cards, GSM antennas, and Bluetooth modules; in receivers for GPS navigation systems; and in medical diagnostic devices and small IoT equipment.
