Overview

Our backshells are available for all AMPSEAL 16 caps and plugs.

Enhancing AMPSEAL 16 Connectors Characteristics

Our AMPSEAL 16 backshells deliver reliable connectivity solutions for harsh environment applications.

Attached to the back of the connectors our backshells enhance the environmental protection characteristics of our AMPSEAL 16 series. They seal the termination point between the connector and the cable from environmental factors such as dirt or moisture.

Our backshells are available with either a smooth wire exit or a corrugated tubing style exit. The smooth wire exit style has slots for a tie wrap, which holds the wires in place and provides strain relief. The corrugated tubing style exit backshells allow a wide range of conduit sizes to nest within the rear of the backshell
