Overview

Harsh duty shakes weak housings loose. Heavy Duty Sealed Connector Housings use a glass filled PBT body with integrated secondary lock and slide lock options to help resist vibration and mismating.

With IP67 sealing and IP6K9K when paired with backshells, they help keep moisture and debris away from contacts in spray down and road spray conditions.

  • Proven in vehicles: Rated from 40°C to +140°C and vibration tested 177 m/s² for extended cycles to support off-highway duty.
  • Design flexibility: Multiple housing groups, 2–18 positions, color keying, flanged and flangeless tab styles, plus CAN bus housings for SAE J1939 networks.
  • System ready: Works with Heavy Duty Sealed Connector Series sealing plugs, backshells, and accessories to help manage strain relief and sealing paths.
