APT bench machines are available in two versions: the 5A with automatic precision adjustment controlled by the crimp quality monitor (CQM) and the 5E with manual precision adjustment. Using CQM, the APT 5A provides 100% inspection and automatic adjustment of crimp height. If a questionable crimp is detected, visual and audible alarms alert the operator. The lower cost, manual adjust APT 5E is a simpler version with the advantage of faster set-up times but without CQM capability.
Designed for the ultimate in flexibility, reliability, and safety. Model G II machines include precision adjustment for crimp height, which, in combination with the optional CQM II, enables you to maintain the tight tolerances required for high quality products.
Applying thru-splices is fast and efficient when you have access to both sides of the applicator for placing and holding the wires. The AMP-O-LECTRIC Model G Splice Terminator with a Standard G Splice Applicator provides front and rear access to maximize production efficiency. And it has full guarding for operator safety.
Whatever your production volume and job mix, we can offer the tools to get it done. With a full range of tooling from hand tools to high volume, fully automated systems, TE Connectivity is able to meet manufacturing demands worldwide. It’s an ability that comes from our experience with manufacturers large and small, giving us a unique view of the trends and challenges in wire harness and PCB manufacturing. It all derives from our commitment to your manufacturing challenges, giving you the advantage in your marketplace.
The MAG-MATE, Mini MAG-MATE, and SIAMEZE terminal products can be used on a variety of applications. Common examples include: small motors, relays, transformers, bobbin coils, shaded pole-motors, solenoids, and motor protectors with a thermal cutout. We provide custom tooling solutions that directly interface with your product.
CERTI-CRIMP portable crimping tools are top-of-the-line, premium hand-operated tools for crimping a broad array of terminals, contacts and special wiring devices. They are designed to exacting specifications to produce consistent, high-quality terminations.
Our commercial hand tools provide the versatility of general-purpose service tools along with the reliability and ease of use of many premium-grade tools. For versatility, all 75 die sets are interchangeable, including those for open-barrel contacts and terminals. Additionally, many of these die sets have multiple cavities for crimping a variety of contact or terminal sizes.
Quality, cost and throughput are associated with specific measurements and linked to process variables. Crimp height, pull test values, leads per hour and crimp symmetry are some of the measurements used to monitor production termination processes.
There are few things in the world of electrical assembly that appear more straightforward than crimping wires to terminals. Stripped wire is inserted into a short metal tube called a wire barrel. A crimping tool then compresses the wire barrel tightly around the strands of the stripped wire, forming one homogeneous metal.
Imagine a single supplier that can satisy virtually all of your application equipment, tooling and field service needs. How simple, efficient and productive. Now, plan a visit to the TE Customer Showcase Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and see the complete application equipment solution for your termination needs.
EYE Check is a tool to help adjust the terminal front feed position on applicators more quickly and is especially helpful with smaller terminals. It consists of a software program (supports both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems). A camera assembly specially designed to quickly attach to TE Ocean, HDM and HDI side feed applicators, which have space behind the terminal support for the camera holder. The camera will also work with a TE CQM-II on a bench terminator.
Maximize your productivity while minimizing your effort — replace your manual hand tools with the 626 Pneumatic Tool System. Terminating wires from 26–6 AWG has never been easier. And you can continue to use most, if not all, of your existing TE-compatible crimp heads and die sets.
SensiPress technology from TE Connectivity (TE) is designed to increase defect detection in connector press fit applications by reducing previously unaltered mechanical noise, thereby improving accuracy, reducing scrap and allowing for easier troubleshooting and maintenance.
Introducing the future of real time connectivity. Our OCEAN applicator offering just got a whole lot more flexible thanks to the new TE CrimpData app. With this mobile app you can manage applicator and spare parts inventory, and quickly verify that you have the right applicator for your terminal without having to run back to your desk.
