What do you believe is enabling innovation in connectivity?

Innovation begins when engineering teams are encouraged and empowered to imagine the future and design for opportunities. This is the thrilling part of leading a team. It requires thinking about how to combine all the factors which affect how we define future technology. This is grounded around the voice of jour customers, global technology trends, and our relationships with start-up companies and tech incubators and laboratories.

 

I am focused on developing solutions for high-voltage and high-speed technology. High-voltage solutions are required by all industries. The objective is to put more electrical power into platforms and to transmit it more efficiently.

 

Today's systems are increasingly complex, requiring more actuators and more sensors. Higher speed is also crucial because technology now handles more data than ever before, and this volume continues to grow exponentially. This growth opportunity is due to the continuous decrease of cost computation and cost storage. In addition, autonomous solutions are generating growth in sensors, data, data exchange, and decision making realized by artificial intelligence (AI) computation.

How do you approach problem solving?

I am a system engineer, and I like working on technology that involves a global approach. This enables me to take a helicopter view, so I can capture everything and then lead my teams in developing the best solution.
