Efficient Terminations
Whether you are terminating motors, solenoids, transformers, coils, or other magnet wire applications, our portfolio provides you with options for making efficient connections. Designed to terminate copper wire, aluminum wire, or a combination of both, our magnet wire terminals offer high-throughput solutions for the original equipment manufacturing environment.
Product Features:
Specifications for Magnet Wire Terminals
- No pre-stripping of magnet wire required
- Choice of crimp or insulation displacement connection
- Low applied costs using semi-automatic or fully automated machines
- Electrically stable, mechanically strong connections
- Connect copper wires, aluminum wires or a combination of both in a single connection
- Choose from splices or terminals with multiple I/O options
- Non-thermal process does not damage heat sensitive components or wiring
- Application of terminals and splices is a highly repeatable, controlled process
TE offers a full selection of Standard MAG-MATE Insulation Displacement Crimp (IDC) terminals for magnet wire terminations. MAG-MATE terminals are available in poke-in, poke-in tab, splice, crimp wire barrel, solder post, quick connect tab, pin and receptacle styles.
Product Descriptions
Magnet Wire Solutions
MAG-MATE terminals are insulation displacement connection (IDC) terminals available in poke-in, poke-in tab, splice, crimp wire barrel, solder post, quick connect tab, pin, and receptacle styles. Selections terminate magnet wire from 12 AWG up to 52 AWG.
AMPLIVAR terminals and splices are specifically designed to terminate magnet wire to itself or in combination with solid or stranded lead wire. They have machined, sharp edged serrations inside their crimp barrels.
SIAMEZE terminals are IDC terminals for interconnecting copper magnet wires, lead wires and other components. They are available as wire-to-wire, lead lok, quick disconnect tabs, posts, pin, and receptacle terminals.
Cluster Blocks are fully insulated, one piece housing connectors that allow electrical connection of sealed hermetic header pins on compressors. These connectors accept ins from one side, so reversing the polarity is prevented.
