Weather-proof heat shrink end caps for electrical connections
TE's Raychem heat shrink wire end caps provide optimum water-proofing and environmental protection for underwater, underground and outdoor applications. The heat shrink end caps are highly resistant to moisture, fungus and weathering. Our electrical end caps are also available with a pre-coat sealant. A large range-taking ability allows for a few sizes of heat-shrink end caps to accommodate a variety of cable diameters.

SSC
Heat-Shrinkable End Caps
SSC heat-shrinkable end caps are made from a thermally stabilized, modified polyolefin, which makes them highly resistant to moisture, fungus and weathering. The end caps also have excellent electrical properties. End caps coated with sealant are available for underwater or underground applications with a pressure differential up to 20 psi between the inside of the cable and the outside environment. These caps may be used over lead, steel, aluminum, copper, polyethylene, polyolefin, EPR and PVC jacketing materials.

End Caps provide optimum waterproofing and environmental protection for underwater, underground or outdoor applications. The end caps are highly resistant to moisture, fungus and weathering. These end caps are used for protecting cables and pipes or capping unused outlets in transitions. Provides an environmental seal when used with adhesive.

The ES-Cap is designed to provide a mechanically tough solution within the operating environment. The adhesive layer provides a tight seal, preventing any moisture from entering which could lead to any corrosive problems. Additionally, the thick adhesive layer can perform highly in environments with extensive temperature ranges, making it applicable for multiple markets.
Easy Seal Zero Halogen Cap (ESZH-Cap)
ESZH-Cap is a new addition to the heat-shrinkable, dual-wall tubing portfolio, designed to provide environmental sealing of electrical stub splices used in automotive environments.The adhesive layer provides a tight seal, preventing any moisture from entering which could lead to any corrosive problems. It is important to apply this product to the capable application. Additionally, the thick adhesive layer can provide high performance in environments with extensive temperature ranges, making it applicable for multiple markets.
