Insulation for Infinite Switch Receptacles

TE offers a portfolio of receptacle housings for the M-style and K-style infinite switches commonly used in resistive heating elements. Both the M-style and K-style housings are designed for Positive Lock Mark II receptacles, which offer ergonomic, error-proof assembly with low insertion force and high retention force. The M-style housing also accepts FASTON receptacles. The multi-position, infinite switch housings allow as many as four connections at once and accept both single and double crimps, potentially lowering applied costs by speeding up assembly and eliminating unnecessary splices. Common applications for the infinite switch housing include electric stoves, space heaters and hot plates.
