KISSLING Series 60 High Voltage contactor

KISSLING Series 60

Our KISSLING Series 60 high voltage relays are optimized to meet the need of the electric vehicles market. They offer contact voltage up to 800 VDC and overload up to 500 Amp. The Series 60 contactors feature low heat generation in the contact area based on low contact voltage drop, a compact design, low holding current, silver alloy contact material, and the use of mechanical and high thermal stability insulating compounds. Both the terminals and housing are protected against corrosion.

KISSLING High Voltage Relays

Series 60

High voltage drive systems are required in electric vehicles to achieve the same power level as in internal combustion ones. With high voltage comes the issue of switching arc when separating electric loads. When not handled properly switching arcs can destroy switching contacts and shorten the switch life or even cause safety-critical failures.

Our Series 60 relays are based on a non-gas-filled ceramic contact chamber. Removing special gases from our relays removes the risk of gas leaks and prevents any dysfunctionality of the relays.

Our high-voltage single coil system relays showcase high shock and vibration resistance. The sealing technology used in these relays meets or exceeds both the IP67 and IP6K9K (steam pressure cleaning) protection standards. This series of contactors is well suited for various applications in severe conditions on commercial vehicles, buses, construction & agricultural vehicles, aircraft, ground support equipment, and lift trucks. The series 60 relays are used in many technical devices including power distribution, remote battery disconnect, starter relay, HVAC control, auxiliary power systems, or hydraulic system control.
