Raychem heat shrink tubes produced by TE Connectivity (TE) have set high standards in areas such as insulation, protection, and element proofing of electrical applications for many decades. Producing TE's Raychem heat shrink tubing involves a cross-linked material design ensuring cable accessories performance. This cross-linked design improves the material barrier properties to shield from environmental impacts overhead and underground while simultaneously insulating and protecting cable connections. During the installation process, applied heat causes the tube to tightly shrink to the substrate while a hotmelt coating provides water tightness. TE's Raychem heat shrink tubings are designed to be protective for many years under harsh conditions, offer excellent water sealing and are easy to install. This flexible tubing can fit a huge range of cable sizes and specifications. Perfect for various different operations and industrial applications. This includes cables, wires, joints and terminations.

Heat Shrink Tubings

Our tubings are using the TE's Raychem heat shrink technology. During heating, the wire insulation tube shrinks to the original smaller extruded diameter, fitting tightly over a wide range of cable sizes and cable accessories because of its high shrink ratio. At the same time the tubing’s inner sealant wall gives a reliable moisture seal over even the most irregular shapes.

Different Types of Products for Different Uses

Many different tubing specifications are available including forms of thin, medium, and heavy wall tubing. Thinner tubing designs can works for a variety of applications including wire jacking and colour coding. Raychem medium wall  wire insulation tube provides sealing and protection purposes on low and medium voltage cables and cable accessories. For long-term reliability and endurance in harsh climates, Raychem heavy wall tubing is a suitable option. Much of this tubing has been also been stabilized against UV penetration. Our range is made of standard poly or elastomeric insulated options as well as rejacketed cables or lead-jacketed cables.
