Overview
The 44100 series NTC Thermistor is a PTFE sheathed epoxy encapsulated precision interchangeable NTC thermistor utilizing high stability pressed-disk ceramic sensor for use in harsh chemical environments. The sensor is protected by a 2″ (51mm) PTFE sheath for protection from harsh chemicals. One inner lead is sleeved with Teflon® tubing for insulation. A nickel stiffening wire allows shaping of the sheath.

The term interchangeability refers to how accurately thermistors track a nominal resistance curve. In the case of a ±0.2°C, through all portions of the interchangeable range, the part is within ±0.2°C of the nominal value for that part. This term is sometimes confused with accuracy. Keep in mind the ±0.2°C figure only refers to nominal curve; absolute accuracy for thermistor at a measured temperature is significantly better. Contact us directly if you require more information.
