Overview

TE’s Raychem MXSU-Tx jointing system is based on a joint design using mechanical connectors for conductor and wire shield.  The MXSU-Tx jointing system is tailored for connections of large differences of cross-sections and conductor constructions, e.g. 25 to 240 mm², Cu/rm to Al/re. Further, the kits are widely range taking and cover most conductor constructions including their tolerances. The kits are delivered with mechanical connectors. It is due to these mechanical connectors that the joints are easy to install, no crimping tool is needed when connecting the cables, no tool maintenance required. TE’s MXSU-Tx are short joints of a space saving design, an essential characteristic when space is limited. Reliability and performance are essential when it comes to customer demands and the MXSU-Tx exceed international performance standards including CENELEC HD 629 or IEC 60502-4 for joints.
