Line Reactors are engineered as a first stage to improve power quality issues related to power electronics devices, including AC drives (also known as VFD), UPS, power conversion systems, BESS, and EV charging stations. These loads are nonlinear and generate harmonic distortions to the installation and affect other loads connected nearby. Line reactors are the most economical solution to reduce the level of harmonic distortions to a more acceptable level. They are also very efficient in reducing the commutation notches and limiting the inrush current.
The Schaffner RWK series and CORCOM RPQ line reactors series offer high performance for both three- and single-phase loads. The three-phase line reactors cover a very broad rating from 2 A up to 1000 A for a 50/60Hz network up to 480V with a series of 0.8%, 4% and 6% impedance. The single-phase line reactors also cover a broad rating from 2A up to 1000A with a maximal voltage up to 250V. All RWK and RPQ series line reactors are UL, CE, and UKCA recognised.
