Overview

This DC accelerometer features built-in mechanical stops, anodized aluminum alloy housing and flexible cable output.  The sensing element is fluid damped to extend useful frequency range and reduce the adverse effect of high frequencies ringing caused by sensor resonance excitation at high-g inputs. The Model 43 accelerometer is fully encapsulated in epoxy for IP65 protection over the full operating temperature range of -20°C to +80°C. TE Connectivity also supplies the calibration data in a user friendly excel format which enables high volume users to quickly upload the calibration This accelerometer is designed for harsh test applications and is packaged in an anodized Aluminum housing with a rugged strain relief. The Model 43 accelerometer is available in ranges from ±25g to ±5,000g and features a full-bridge configuration with a nominal 1000Ω impedance that offers quick warm-up time and minimal drift, unlike lower impedance designs on the market.
