Comfort NX // A new ergonomic cable for ultrasound imaging

15 mins

According to a 2018 report issued by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, a staggering 90% of clinical sonographers experience symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders. Many of the probes, connectors and cables used by clinical sonographers are bulky and heavy in nature, a potential factor contributing to these instances of work-related musculoskeletal disorders.

At TE Connectivity, our engineers believe that you don’t need a heavy, bulky imaging cable to provide high-quality reliable performance. During this webinar, Eugene Mayevskiy Principle Engineer will discuss COMFORT NX, TE's newest ergonomic cable design for medical ultrasound imaging.

Join Eugene as he walks you through the COMFORT NX configuration, giving an in-depth view on how TE created a cable with an ergonomic design, lighter and flexible feel, while minimizing crosstalk and maximizing image performance.

Intrasense // Increased clinical data with micro-invasive pressure sensor

20 mins

As minimally invasive equipment becomes smaller and smarter, there is a need to enable direct pressure monitoring anywhere in the anatomy. Today, most surgical equipment either doesn’t have a pressure sensing function, or the pressure measurement is driven from an external sensor, causing interference and critical time delays in measurement.

A low-profile solution TE Connectivity’s IntraSense sensor enables existing equipment to become smaller for applications such as single-use endoscopes, diagnostic catheters, and needles. Learn more about its easy integration, comprehensive design and biocompatibility in our 30 minute on demand webinar.

PLEX // The advantages of fine wire conductors, with the ease of integrating flex circuits

20 mins

Why do flex circuits have to mean compromise in electrical performance? From crosstalk and line resistance to addressing mixed signal requirements and complex channel mapping, FPC’s can be costly and limit your design options.

TE’s solution - PLEX, the micro-cable interconnect platform that provides all the advantages of a fine wire conductor, with the ease of integrating a flex circuit.

During our upcoming webinar Staff R&D Engineer Charlie Holtan will walk you through the PLEX platform, giving an in-depth view of its, advantages, configurability, integration and optimal applications.
