BCTT is a bio-based flame-retardant, adhesive-lined tubing made from irradiated modified Bio-Based polyolefin material. BCTT is the bio alternative to BATTU, delivering identical level if functionalities and performance with benefit of reducing environmental impact.
BIOFUSE Tubing: Bio Cable Terminal Tubing (BCTT) is a bio-based flame-retardant, adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing made from modified Bio-Based polyolefin material coupled with a thermoplastic adhesive inner liner. BCTT is the bio alternative to BATTU, delivering identical level of functionalities and performance with the benefit of reducing environmental impact.
It is specifically designed for power cable to terminal applications in harsh environments, providing excellent electrical isolation, mechanical protection and moisture-resistance.
BCTT is designed as a semi-rigid tubing offering a degree of strain relief and withstand operating temperatures up to 125°C. BCTT tubing has been optimized in size for fast applications to speed up production.
