MCP Hybrid Coax Connectors

MCP hybrid coax connectors utilize existing unsealed MCP connectors to provide a coaxial data connection up to 9 GHz and 9 signal/power MCON 1.2 CB terminals to enable the implementation of high-resolution cameras within trucks and buses.

MCP Hybrid Coax Connectors

Designed for unsealed firewall, bulkhead passthrough applications with MCP housing, the MCP hybrid coax connectors are more specifically used for connections that must pass through the firewall within a truck or bus to connect front and rear cameras on the vehicle.

These industrial connectors utilize our widely available and industry proven MCON 1.2 clean body (CB) terminals and TE’s MATEax terminals for reliable quality and performance with self-termination capabilities. The connector design is easy to assemble in existing firewall frames which provides potential cost and time savings for customers who are making upgrades to their vehicle designs. A hybrid design with both coaxial data and power in one connection offers increased design flexibility and can help save space.
