Overview

The extra-long stress cone aids in correct positioning and integrated void-filling mastic eliminates the need for silicone grease. Sealing mastic for the lug end is built into the expanded termination eliminating the need for additional sealing tapes. They offer a reliable, fast and easy-to-install system to help ensure trouble free service and help maintain high network reliability. The key components are pre-expanded on one holdout system, allowing neat installation in compact environment on the prepared cable.

TE’s Raychem terminations CSTI/O are designed to cover a wide range of applications and to accommodate the variety of cable and conductor types used in the networks. Range-taking, mechanical lugs ensuring reliable installation and service can be supplied with the kit.

The CST components have full traceability to raw materials and are in compliance with the following international standards: IEEE-48, IEC 61238-1, GB 9327, GB 12706.4, CENELEC HD 629.1.S2 (includes IEC, BS, VDE and other international specifications).
