TE Connectivity (TE) and the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) are joining efforts to help develop installers' skills in Nigeria.
Nigeria’s power sector had been underinvested for several decades. Resulting problems include the dramatic insufficiency of infrastructure and a very low level of energy efficiency throughout the sector. NAPTIN & TE's goal is to train people to build and maintain tomorrow’s network.
About the Partnership
TE will be providing cable jointing materials for the trainings (medium voltage joints, switchgear connectors, medium voltage surge arresters) and sharing technical knowledge with NAPTIN’s trainers. NAPTIN will organize trainings sessions in some of its nine facilities in Nigeria.
