Chief Executive Officer and Board Member

Terrence R. Curtin is Chief Executive Officer of TE Connectivity, a $14 billion global industrial technology leader in connectivity and sensor solutions that enable a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future. Each day, more than 8,000 TE engineers across the globe collaborate with customers to solve their toughest problems and turn ideas into innovations that move the world forward – from autonomous vehicles, next generation aircraft, and smart factories to advanced medical devices and connected homes.

Terrence is focused on enhancing the experience for TE’s customers, optimizing the company’s operations, removing obstacles to unleash the potential of TE employees, and cultivating a diverse work environment where global collaboration and innovation thrive. Through this approach, he believes TE will continue to be a partner of choice for customers looking to address their most critical challenges in the harshest of environments.

A global-minded leader, Terrence’s advocacy for free trade and technology, and his appreciation of a broad spectrum of ideas and cultures, stems from his years of previous experience at TE and Arthur Andersen.

Prior to assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer of the company in March 2017, Terrence served as TE’s President, where he was responsible for all of the company’s connectivity and sensor businesses, as well as mergers and acquisition activities. In March 2016, he was elected to the Board of Directors.

Terrence also previously led TE’s Industrial Solutions segment, which includes the company’s Energy, Industrial, Aerospace, Defense and Marine, and Medical business units.

Prior to his role as leader of Industrial Solutions, Terrence served as TE’s Chief Financial Officer, and as the company’s Corporate Controller. Before joining TE Connectivity, Terrence was employed by Arthur Andersen LLP.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the US-China Business Council (USCBC), a leading organization in building commercial relations with China.

Terrence is a Director of DuPont de Nemours, Inc. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Albright College.

Heath Mitts

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Heath Mitts is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TE Connectivity. Heath is responsible for developing and implementing the financial strategy for the company. As CFO, he creates the financial infrastructure necessary to drive the Company’s financial direction, vision, and compliance initiatives.

Heath joined TE Connectivity in September 2016. Previously, Heath served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of IDEX Corporation since March 2011 and served as Vice President of Corporate Finance from September 2005 to February 2011. Prior to joining IDEX, Heath worked for PerkinElmer from 2001 to 2005 as Chief Financial Officer of PerkinElmer Asia, based in Singapore.

Prior to PerkinElmer, he worked at Honeywell International (formerly Allied Signal) from 1996 to 2001 in a variety of senior financial leadership positions, including the Finance leader of Honeywell’s aerospace avionics business. He has been a Director at Columbus McKinnon Corporation since May 2015.

Heath holds Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Political Science from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Pennsylvania State University.

John S. Jenkins Jr.

Executive Vice President and General Counsel

John S. Jenkins Jr. is the Executive Vice President, General Counsel of TE Connectivity. John is responsible for the company’s global legal, compliance, corporate governance, government affairs, intellectual property, security and risk management, and corporate social responsibility activities. He is also responsible for bringing TE’s industry-leading connectivity solutions, engineering, and operations expertise to the emerging markets with focus on India, China, and South America. He joined TE Connectivity in October 2012.

Prior to joining TE Connectivity, John was with Tyco International for ten years and was the Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and International General Counsel. John was responsible for the Board of Directors activities, securities and capital markets transactions and reporting, mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation, global procurement, real estate, and tax planning.

Prior to 2003, John worked as a litigator with McGuireWoods, LLP. John began his career in 1987 as an Officer in the United States Navy, and served as a judge advocate both as Military Prosecutor and Senior Defense Counsel, and finally as Legislative Counsel to the Secretary of the Navy.

John earned his law degree from George Washington University with high honors and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.

Shad Kroeger

President, Communications Solutions

Shad Kroeger is the President of TE Connectivity’s Communications Solutions Segment. The segment is comprised of the company’s Data and Devices, Appliances, and Channel business units. Shad is responsible for all aspects of the segment’s strategy, sales, development, and operations globally.

Since joining TE in 1995, Shad has held leadership positions in general management, strategy, product management, sales, and engineering. His roles have spanned the automotive, industrial, and consumer markets.

From 2013 to 2017, Shad served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Appliances business.

Shad holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.

Steven Merkt

President, Transportation Solutions

Steven Merkt is President, Transportation Solutions for TE Connectivity.

As leader of the Transportation Solutions segment – one of the world’s largest suppliers of connectivity and sensor solutions to the automotive and commercial vehicle marketplaces – Steven is responsible for all aspects of sales, development, and operations for the segment worldwide.  

Steven joined TE in 1989 and has held leadership positions in general management, operations, engineering, marketing, supply chain, and new product launches. He was appointed to his current position in August 2012, after serving as President of TE’s Automotive business.

Prior to joining TE, Steven worked as a Flight Test Engineer for the F.A.A. and a computer consultant for Rutgers University. Steven is a member of the board of directors for the Isonoma Foundation.

Steven holds a Master of Business Administration from the Smeal School of Business at Pennsylvania State University, Pennsylvania, U.S., and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University, New Jersey, U.S. 

Kevin Rock, President of Industrial Solutions at TE Connectivity

President, Industrial Solutions

Kevin Rock serves as the President of TE's Industrial Solutions segment, which consists of the company’s Aerospace, Defense, Oil and Gas, Industrial, Medical, and Energy businesses. Kevin is responsible for all aspects of the segment’s strategy, growth, operations, and performance.

Kevin has been with TE for more than 20 years, and his career includes numerous accomplishments. Prior to his current role, Kevin was President of TE’s Aerospace, Defense, and Marine (AD&M) business. He established AD&M as a business unit, doubled the business unit from under $500 million to over $1 billion, and increased the unit’s profitability. He has played a critical role in acquisitions that have established TE as the leader in harsh environment applications and a leading provider of connectivity solutions to the oil and gas industry.

Joan Wainwright

President, Customer Experience

Joan Wainwright is President, Customer Experience. Joan joined TE in 2006 as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications and became head of the Channel Business Unit in 2009.

As the head of Channel, Joan led a team of nearly 1,000 sales, customer care, pricing, and marketing professionals who are focused on growing TE’s revenues, market share, and relationships with approximately 300 distributors around the world. Under her leadership, revenues generated from distribution sales grew to about 15 percent of total TE sales.

Joan joined TE Connectivity from Merck & Co., Inc., where she served as Vice President, Public Affairs.

Prior to that, she served in the Clinton Administration as Deputy Commissioner of Communicationsfor the U.S. Social Security Administration. Joan has worked in the communications and public relations departments at the University Health System of New Jersey, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the University of Delaware, and Villanova University.

Joan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Delaware, Delaware, U.S., and a Master of Business Administration degree from Temple University, Pennsylvania, U.S.

Mario Calastri

Senior Vice President and Treasurer

Mario Calastri is Treasurer of TE Connectivity. Mario is responsible for developing and implementing the financial strategy for the company.

As Treasurer, he oversees the company’s cash management, banking, capital structure development and funding, foreign exchange, contingent liabilities, investments, risk management, and financial planning and analysis activities.

Mario joined TE Connectivity in June 2007 as Senior Vice President and Treasurer. Previously, he served as Vice President and Assistant Treasurer of Tyco International. 

Mario held a variety of management positions with IBM, including Assistant Treasurer, Global Risk Manager and Vice President of Finance for IBM’s IGF division in Europe.

Mario holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Universita Bocconi Italy, and a Master’s degree in Finance from Pace University, New York, U.S.

Joel Dubs

Senior Vice President of Operations

Joel Dubs serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for TE Connectivity and leads Operations for the Transportation Solutions segment.

As Senior Vice President of Operations, Joel is responsible for all aspects of the company’s corporate global operations including procurement, logistics, manufacturing engineering and innovation, environmental, health and safety, facilities services, and the company-wide lean initiative. He also leads implementation of the company’s digital operations initiatives and has lead the company’s Operations Council since 2013.
Joel previously served as Vice President of Operations for the company’s Global Automotive business.

Joel joined the company in 1983 and has served in a wide variety of engineering, manufacturing and operations assignments, including nearly 10 years as a plant manager and regional and global operations assignments of increasing responsibility over the last 20 years.

Joel holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.

Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Joe Eckroth joined TE Connectivity in 2013 and serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In this role, he is responsible for leading the TE Information Systems (TEIS) team, setting the enterprise-wide Information Systems strategic direction, and ensuring TEIS implements key information systems initiatives that support TE’s goals.

Prior to joining TE, Joe was with Hertz Holdings and Hertz since 2007, and most recently held the position of Executive Vice President, Global Customer Care and Chief Information Officer. In this role, he also provided oversight to the Corporate Project Management Office, Revenue Management function and Navigations Solutions business, which is the exclusive provider of the Hertz Neverlost units and related services.

Prior to joining Hertz Holdings and Hertz, Joe served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of New Century Financial Corporation. Previously, Joe served as the Chief Information Officer for Mattel, Inc. and two of General Electric’s business units, GE Medical Systems and GE Industrial Systems.

From 2003 to 2006, Joe served on the board of directors of VWR International, a global laboratory supply and distribution company, where he also served on the Compensation and Finance Committees. From 2000 to 2006, he also served on the board of directors of the Orangewood Children’s Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing life-changing prevention and intervention programs for abused and neglected children and young adults in Orange County, California.

Joe earned his MBA from Pepperdine University School of Business and Management and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of La Verne in La Verne, California.

Arvind Kaushal assumed the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer in November 2018. Arvind is responsible for leading the enterprise strategy team and shaping TE’s strategy to take advantage of market shifts and create superior shareholder value. He leads the strategic planning process and works closely with the organization to drive alignment and focus on TE’s strategic priorities.

From 2014 to 2018, Arvind was Vice President and Global Head of Strategy at Johnson Controls’ Power Solutions division. In that role, he was responsible for leading a team of professionals to address major strategic opportunities and support strategy execution to grow revenue and improve margins.

Prior to Johnson Controls, Arvind was a Partner with Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) and led the firm’s manufacturing team in North America. Arvind took on progressively senior positions with the firm over his 15-year tenure. He advised senior executives to build capabilities required for driving growth and creating competitive advantage. Arvind led several growth strategy and operational transformation projects in industrial and automotive industries, with a focus on North America, Europe, China, and India.

Arvind has an MBA (PGDCM) from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, India. At IIM Calcutta, Arvind was awarded Gold medal and was placed on Institute’s Honor Roll for academic excellence. Arvind received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (formerly UoR), India.

Karen Leggio, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Channel

Senior Vice President and General Manager, Channel

Karen Leggio is Senior Vice President and General Manager for TE Connectivity’s Channel business unit, where sales represent approximately 15% of TE’s overall revenue. In this role, Karen is focused on growing TE’s Channel revenue, market share and customer reach by strengthening global relationships with TE’s approximately 300 distributors.

Karen joined TE in 2010 as its first Chief Procurement Officer and led the integration of TE’s global spend, driving significant productivity and scale advantage for the company. Subsequently, Karen became Senior Vice President and General Manager for TE’s North American Automotive business. Under her tenure, Karen broadened product offerings, expanded the customer base and launched a new facility enabling revenue to surpass a billion dollars for the first time, while developing and exporting top talent across the broader TE Enterprise.

Prior to joining TE, Karen was with Ingersoll Rand where she served as Vice President of Global Supply Chain. Before Ingersoll Rand, Karen worked for General Motors for twenty-three years where she held multiple leadership roles with increasing responsibilities across Europe, South America and North America in the areas of operations, procurement, logistics, supplier quality, and program management. Karen was recognized in 2005 by Automotive News as one of the Top 100 Women in the Automotive Industry.

Karen currently serves as Chairman for the TE Connectivity Foundation, whose mission is to connect and strengthen global communities through access to technology and engineering for all, with an emphasis on women and underserved populations. She has also been a member of the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce since 2015.

Karen earned her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University’s Supply Chain Management program and her Masters of Science degree in Operations from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana where she attended on a General Motors’ Fellowship scholarship.

Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Tim Murphy is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for TE Connectivity. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s HR strategy to ensure TE has the talent, culture, and organization needed to achieve its business objectives. Tim joined TE Connectivity as Vice President, Global Talent Management in November 2011.

From 1993 to 2011, Tim held a variety of HR Business Partner and Center of Excellence leadership positions at Merck. As Executive Director, Talent Management, he led a Center of Excellence that supported 90,000 employees and was responsible globally for performance management, succession planning, career development, and workforce planning.

Tim has a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from West Chester University in Pennsylvania and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Jeanne Quirk, Senior Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions

Senior Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions

Jeanne Quirk is Senior Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions at TE Connectivity. In her role, Jeanne is responsible for driving the development and execution of inorganic growth strategies.

Since 2013, Jeanne has served as the Vice President, Strategy and Business Development for the Industrial Solutions (IS) segment, with responsibility for partnering with the IS leadership team to identify and execute organic and inorganic growth initiatives. Since joining TE in 2000, Jeanne has held a variety of leadership positions in M&A and integration, including leading TE’s M&A and divestiture efforts from 2007 through 2013.

Prior to joining TE, Jeanne worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers for 10 years where she assisted a broad range of strategic buyers and financial sponsors with their acquisitions.

Jeanne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University and is a certified public accountant. 

Alan Amici

Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Transportation Solutions

Alan Amici serves as the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for TE Connectivity’s Transportation Solutions segment.

As the technical leader of the Transportation Solutions segment, Alan is responsible for the strategic direction of global engineering, technology, advanced development and innovation within the Automotive, Sensors, Application Tooling and Industrial & Commercial Transportation business units.

Alan joined TE after a 30-year career with Chrysler where he held a variety of global positions in engineering, manufacturing and service, including Head of Electrical and Electronics for Chrysler in Michigan, USA, Head of Electrical and Electronics for Fiat in Turin, Italy, Head of Global Uconnect and Global Service & Parts in Stuttgart, Germany.

Alan is the owner of two patents, is the recipient of the Walter P. Chrysler Technology Award and is a member of the SAE Convergence Technical Council where he served as the Technical Program Chair for Convergence.

Alan holds a Master of Business Administration degree, a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is also a graduate of the Chrysler Institute of Engineering.

Claudia Anderson

Vice President and Chief Continuous Improvement Officer

Claudia Anderson is Vice President and Chief Continuous Improvement Officer for TE Connectivity. In this role, she leads enterprise-wide TEOA and quality activities, as well as operations strategy, working to accelerate systemic process improvements that will enable TE to consistently exceed customer expectations.

Prior to her current role, she led the operations organization for the TE Automotive business in the Americas region and served as Vice President of Quality for TE’s Transportation Solutions segment. Before joining TE, Claudia held a variety of positions in product engineering, manufacturing and quality at Ford Motor Company and Visteon Corporation.

She serves on the Board of North Carolina FIRST Robotics, a not-for-profit organization that is devoted to helping young people discover and develop a passion for science, engineering, technology, and math.

Claudia holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Detroit-Mercy.

Kari Janavitz

Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

Kari Janavitz has served as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for TE Connectivity since January 2018. She is responsible for leading TE’s enterprise marketing and brand strategy, communications, and global campaigns.

Kari joined TE Connectivity in June 2013 as Vice President, Marketing with the responsibility of building TE’s brand as a top of mind choice for connectivity and sensor solutions. Under her leadership, TE received a number of marketing and brand awards including recognition in AdAge’s 2016 BtoB Best Awards for TE’s “Engineering Racing Greatness” integrated marketing campaign. While at TE, Kari also led marketing for the company’s Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit.

For more than 20 years, Kari has focused on building value from marketing in leading technology brands. Prior to TE, she led brand, communications, and marketing teams at RedPrairie (JDA) and Sapient. She also ran her own marketing and communications consulting firm focused on brand-building and communication programs for tech-focused companies.

Kari earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech from Northwestern University.

Nitin Mathur

Vice President and Chief Digital and eBusiness Officer

Nitin Mathur assumed the role of Chief Digital & eBusiness Officer in January 2018. He is responsible for TE’s global digital strategy, which includes leading the digital customer experience, overseeing TE’s digital platforms and partnerships, and expanding TE’s online commerce capabilities to drive customer and revenue growth. He also leads the customer data, insights, and growth marketing team.

Prior to this role, Nitin was Vice President digital customer experience for TE Connectivity. Nitin joined TE in 2016 as Senior Director and head of Marketing for TE Connectivity’s Asia Pacific business, based out of Singapore.

Prior to joining TE Connectivity, Nitin was Senior Director Marketing for Yahoo’s APAC business, based out of Singapore. Between 2007 – 2016, he held various leadership positions where he was responsible for overseeing brand, product, mobile, and B2B marketing efforts, along with directing editorial strategy, content, and social media channels across the region.

Between 2003 – 2007, Nitin served as Director of Marketing at Sapient, a global digital consulting and marketing services firm. He was responsible for growing brand awareness in the region, along with leading the CRM and marketing analytics function globally. Before Sapient, between 2000 – 2003, Nitin held marketing, product management, and business development roles at Times Internet Limited (Times of India Group).

Nitin started his career at Sahara Group, as a member of the Chairman’s office, responsible for marketing and communications for the group’s airline business.

Nitin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Economics, from the University of Lucknow, India, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (MBA) with specialization in marketing, from EMPI Business School, New Delhi, India.

Jimmy McDonald

Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer

Jimmy McDonald has served as Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer for TE Connectivity since 2013. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing global procurement and logistics strategies to achieve business unit objectives. Essential to this role is ensuring that TE has identified the right supplier partnerships and delivers supplier performance across procured products and services.

Prior to joining to TE, Jimmy served as Vice President for Strategic Sourcing for Honeywell Aerospace. Prior to Honeywell, he held a range of diverse global supply chain roles at General Motors and Delphi where he operated in a variety of capacities in the United States and Asia, including procurement, supplier development, logistics, planning, labor relations and manufacturing.

Jimmy graduated from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and successfully completed the Executive Development Program at the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.

Tom Lynch

Chairman

Tom Lynch has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since its inception in June 2007, serving as the Chairman since January 2013. Mr. Lynch served as Executive Chairman of TE Connectivity from March 2017 to March 2018, and served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer from January 2006 to March 2017.

From September 2004 to January 2006, Mr. Lynch was at Tyco International (Tyco) as the President of Tyco Engineered Products & Services, a global manufacturer of industrial valves and controls. He was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Tyco Electronics, now TE Connectivity, in January 2006, and grew the company into a $12 billion global technology leader.

Mr. Lynch joined Tyco from Motorola, where he served as Executive Vice President of Motorola, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Motorola’s Personal Communications sector, a leading supplier of cellular handsets. Prior to this role, he served as President of the Integrated Electronics Systems sector, of which automotive was the largest market segment.

Prior to Motorola, Mr. Lynch was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Satellite and Broadcast Network Systems segment for General Instrument Corporation.

Mr. Lynch serves on the boards of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., Cummins Inc. Automatic Data Processing Inc. and on the boards of trustees for The Franklin Institute, Philadelphia, PA, and Rider University, Lawrenceville, NJ.

Mr. Lynch has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Rider University, New Jersey, U.S.

Dr. Pierre R. Brondeau

Lead Independent Director

Dr. Pierre R. Brondeau is the Lead Independent Director of the TE Board of Directors. He has served on the TE Connectivity Board since its inception in June 2007.

Dr. Brondeau has been President and Chief Executive Officer of FMC Corporation since January 2010 and serves as Chairman of its Board of Directors. FMC Corporation is a diversified global chemical company serving agricultural, industrial and consumer markets.

Prior to joining FMC Corporation, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Dow Advanced Materials, a manufacturer of specialty materials and a wholly‑owned subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Company, upon the April 2009 merger of Rohm & Haas Company and Dow Chemical Company, until September 2009. From 2008 to 2009, Dr. Brondeau served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Rohm & Haas Company and from 2006 to 2008, as Executive Vice President of electronics materials and specialty materials of Rohm & Haas Company. Dr. Brondeau joined Rohm & Haas in 1989 as European Marketing Manager for the Plastics Additives business unit located in Paris. In 1991, he transferred to Valbonne, France, to head the Technical Service and Development Laboratories.

Dr. Brondeau was promoted to Director of Plastics Additives Research in 1993, and moved to Shipley Company, which was later renamed Rohm & Haas Electronic Materials, as Director, Research, Sales & Marketing in 1995. He held top leadership positions at Shipley Company, including Vice President, Operations and Technology, President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer from 1997.

From 2003, Dr. Brondeau served in several executive capacities in the Electronic Materials and Specialty Materials business. In May 2008, he was elected President & Chief Operating Officer of Rohm & Haas Company. Earlier in his career, he worked at Air Liquide in France.

He is a Director of Livent and also serves on the Boards of the American Chemistry Council and the Franklin Institute.

Dr. Brondeau has a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering from INSA France; a Master’s degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Montpellier, France; and a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from INSA France.

Terrence R. Curtin is Chief Executive Officer of TE Connectivity, a $14 billion global industrial technology leader in connectivity and sensor solutions that enable a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future. A global-minded leader, Terrence’s advocacy for free trade and technology, and his appreciation of a broad spectrum of ideas and cultures, stems from his years of previous experience at TE and Arthur Andersen.

Prior to assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer of the company in March 2017, Terrence served as TE’s President, where he was responsible for all of the company’s connectivity and sensor businesses, as well as mergers and acquisition activities. In March 2016, he was elected to the Board of Directors.

Terrence also previously led TE’s Industrial Solutions segment, which includes the company’s Energy, Industrial, Aerospace, Defense and Marine, and Medical business units.

Prior to his role as leader of Industrial Solutions, Terrence served as TE’s Chief Financial Officer, and as the company’s Corporate Controller. Before joining TE Connectivity, Terrence was employed by Arthur Andersen LLP.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the US-China Business Council (USCBC), a leading organization in building commercial relations with China.

Terrence is a Director of DuPont de Nemours, Inc. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Albright College. 

Carol A. (“John”) Davidson

Carol A. (“John”) Davidson has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since March 2016.

Mr. Davidson is a Certified Public Accountant, with more than 30 years of leadership experience across multiple industries. Mr. Davidson’s experience with complex accounting and financial issues combined with his knowledge of public reporting requirements and processes bring accounting and financial management insight to the Board.

Mr. Davidson held a variety of leadership roles at Tyco International Ltd. and Dell Inc. and financial leadership roles at Eastman Kodak Company.

Mr. Davidson is a director of Legg Mason, Inc. and Allergan plc.

Mr. Davidson holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College and a MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester.

Dr. William A. Jeffrey

Dr. William A. Jeffrey has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since March 2012.

Since 2014, Dr. Jeffrey has been Chief Executive Officer and President of SRI International, a research and development organization serving government and industry. Prior to that he served as Chief Executive Officer and President of HRL Laboratories, LLC, an automotive, aerospace and defense research and development laboratory, from September 2008. From 2007 to 2008, he was the Director of the Science and Technology Division of the Institute for Defense Analyses, and prior to that was Director of the National Institute of Standards & Technology from 2005. From 2002 to 2005, Dr. Jeffrey served as Senior Director of Homeland and National Security and Assistant Director of Space and Aeronautics in the Executive Office of the President, Office of Science and Technology Policy. He began his career at the Institute for Defense Analyses in 1988.

Dr. Jeffrey has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Astronomy from Harvard University, both in Massachusetts, U.S.

David M. Kerko

David M. Kerko has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since March 2019.

Mr. Kerko currently serves as a director on the boards of GlobalFoundries, a privately held semiconductor manufacturer; Nebula Acquisition, a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company; SAIC, a publicly traded government services company; Savant, a privately held home automation company; and Transphorm, a privately held GAN semiconductor manufacturer.

From 1998 to 2017, Mr. Kerko held a variety of roles at KKR & Co., L.P, including Advisor, Member, and Co-Head of the firm’s Technology Group. During his time at KKR, he played an active role in building the firm’s technology platform and was involved in a broad range of technology investments, including Broadcom, Magic Leap, Marvell Technology Group, NXP Semiconductors and Sonos.

Prior to joining KKR, he worked with Gleacher NatWest Inc. where he was involved in mergers and acquisition transactions and financing work.

Mr. Kerko holds a B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S.E., summa cum laude, from the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania.

Yong Nam

Yong Nam has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since March 2012.

Since April 2013, he has served as an advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of Daelim Industrial Co. Ltd., the engineering, construction and petrochemical operations affiliate of Daelim Group, a Korean company.

Mr. Nam has served as an advisor to LG Electronics, Inc., a global provider of consumer electronics, mobile communications and home appliances, since April 2011.

From 2007 through March 2011, Mr. Nam served as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of LG Electronics. He previously served as President of LG Corp., the global conglomerate of the LG group of companies, from 2006 to 2007, and as Chief Executive Officer of LG Telecom from 1998 until 2006. Mr. Nam's career with LG began in 1976.

Mr. Nam has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Seoul National University, South Korea. 

Daniel J. Phelan

Daniel J. Phelan has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since its inception in June 2007.

Mr. Phelan was Chief of Staff at GlaxoSmithKline plc. (GSK), a manufacturer of pharmaceuticals, vaccines and consumer health-related products. He served in this role from 2008 until his retirement in December 2012, following which he consulted with GSK until the end of 2013. Mr. Phelan joined GSK in 1981 and held several other roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Senior Vice President of Operations & Administration, Research and Development.

Prior to his work at GSK, Mr. Phelan worked as an attorney in the labor department at Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell & Hippel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and as a Director of Student Services at The Ohio State University. He also served as an officer in the United States Army Medical Service Corps.

Mr. Phelan is a Director of Indivior PLC.

Mr. Phelan has both a Bachelor's and law degree from Rutgers University, New Jersey, U.S., and a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from The Ohio State University, Ohio, U.S.

Paula A. Sneed

Paula A. Sneed has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since its inception in June 2007.

Ms. Sneed is Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Phelps Prescott Group, LLC, a strategy and management consulting firm since 2008. Until December 2006, Ms. Sneed was Executive Vice President of Global Marketing Resources and Initiatives for Kraft Foods, Inc., a worldwide producer and distributor of branded food and beverage products.

Ms. Sneed previously held a variety of other positions at Kraft Foods, including Group Vice President and President of Electronic Commerce and Marketing Services, and Chief Marketing Officer for the company. Ms. Sneed began her career in 1977 at General Foods Corporation, which merged with Kraft Foods in 1995.

She is a Director of Charles Schwab Corporation and Berry Global Group, Inc.

Ms. Sneed has a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Simmons College and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business, both in Massachusetts, U.S.

Abhijit Y. Talwalkar

Abhijit Y. Talwalkar has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since March 2017.

Mr. Talwalkar was President and Chief Executive Officer of LSI Corporation, from May 2005 until the completion of LSI's merger with Avago Technologies in May 2014.

From 1993 to 2005, Mr. Talwalkar held a number of senior management positions at Intel Corporation, including Corporate Vice President and Co-General Manager of the Digital Enterprise Group, which was comprised of Intel's business client, server, storage, and communications businesses, and Vice President and General Manager for the Intel Enterprise Platform Group, where he focused on developing, marketing, and driving Intel business strategies for enterprise computing.

Prior to Intel, Mr. Talwalkar held senior engineering and marketing positions at Sequent Computer Systems, a multiprocessing computer systems design and manufacturer that later became a part of IBM. He also held positions at Bipolar Integrated Technology, Inc., a VLSI bipolar semiconductor company; and Lattice Semiconductor Inc., a service-driven developer of programmable design solutions widely used in electronic systems.

Mr. Talwalkar is Chairman of the Board for iRhythm Technologies. He is a Director of Lam Research Corporation, serving as Lead Independent Director and Chair of the Nominating and Governance committee; he previously served as Chair of the Compensation Committee. Mr. Talwalkar is a Director of Advanced Micro Devices.

Mr. Talwalkar has a Bachelor's of Science degree in electrical engineering from Oregon State University.

 

Mark Trudeau

Mark Trudeau has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since March 2016.

Mr. Trudeau is the President, Chief Executive Officer and director of Mallinckrodt plc, a global specialty biopharmaceutical and imaging business that develops, manufactures, markets and distributes specialty pharmaceutical products and imaging agents.

Mr. Trudeau held executive leadership positions at Covidien plc, Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals LLC USA, Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Abbott Laboratories.

Mr. Trudeau brings experience as a public company executive officer and director, along with a record of executive leadership and global business expertise in many areas including strategy, operations and management.

Mr. Trudeau holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a MBA, both from the University of Michigan.

Laura H. Wright

Laura H. Wright has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since March 2014.

Since her retirement in 2012 as Chief Financial Officer of Southwest Airlines, Ms. Wright founded GSB Advisors, to provide strategic and financial consulting to growth and non-profit companies. During her 25 year career at Southwest, Ms. Wright served in a variety of financial roles including Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of Finance, Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer.

Ms. Wright began her career at Arthur Young & Co. in 1982 as a member of their tax staff, following which she became a Tax Manager from 1986 through 1988.

Ms. Wright serves as Director of Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc. and CMS Energy and its subsidiary, Consumers Energy.

Ms. Wright holds bachelor and master of science degrees in accounting from the University of North Texas.
