Overview

Reduce system complexity. LUMAWISE drive LED holder Type Z50 On/Off series is ideal for use in track and spot lighting. It integrates the holder and DC/DC driver into a single package that offers lighting designers the possibility to develop compact, better-looking and less complex lighting systems.
Until recently, most LED drivers have been housed in separate boxes, often larger than the lamp itself, mounted to the side of the luminaire and remote to the light source. This configuration required wiring between the light source and driver, creating design and manufacturing complexity for the designer. TE’s new holder reduces that complexity and allows more flexibility for lighting design, providing a more cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing solution.

LUMAWISE drive LED Holder Type Z50 On/Off series integrates a 48VDC powered constant-current LED driver into the same form factor as TE’s popular 50mm diameter Zhaga-inspired range of LUMAWISE LED holders for COB LEDs. It works with a wide range of readily available constant voltage power supplies meaning powering multiple fixtures off a single power supply is now possible. Each of these drive currents work with common COB sizes of 16x19mm, 19x19mm, 20x24mm and 24x24mm making this LED holder suitable for use with over 70 different types of COBs offered by LED manufacturers.
