JANUARY 9, 2018 - Consortium including Aqua Comms, Bulk Infrastructure, Facebook, and others, today announced that a contract has been signed with TE SubCom as the system supplier for the HAFVRUE cable system. HAVFRUE, the Danish word for mermaid, is the first new cable system in almost two decades that will traverse the North Atlantic to connect mainland Northern Europe to the U.S.A.

DECEMBER 4, 2017 - Algar Telecom (Brazil), Angola Cables (Angola), Antel (Uruguay), Google and TE SubCom today announced that the Monet Cable System (“Monet”) has reached Ready for Service status. The 10,556km cable that connects Florida to Brazil is complete and prepared to provide more than 64 Tbps of capacity to users.

OCTOBER 29, 2017 - TE SubCom together with a consortium of six prominent telecom and content service providers, announced that the supply contract for the JUPITER Cable system has come into force. The new transpacific route is designed to boost high-capacity connectivity between Asia and the United States.
