Sockets/Memory Card Products Overview

TE Connectivity offers a broad portfolio of connectors for main Memory modules, removable Memory cards and microprocessors made to the many industry standard specifications. Our main Memory connectors are made to JEDEC industry standards for SIMM (Single In-line Memory Modules) and DIMM (Dual In-line Memory Modules) for Computer and Communication applications. Each product family consists of vertical, right angle and various angled configurations in solder tail, press fit and SMT mounting options. The removable memory and card products are designed to various industry standard removable memory cards such as PC Card, Smartcard, PCMCIA (including ExpressCard), etc. Applications for these connector families include Consumer, Computer, Printer, Cellular and Security devices. Combination connector and customer specific solutions are also available. The processor socket families are primarily designed for Intel, AMD and RISC based microprocessor packages. Applications are all Computer platforms (Notebook, Desktop, Server) and various Communication equipment.
