Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Tom Lynch is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TE Connectivity. Mr. Lynch has served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer since January 2006 and was elected to Chairman of the Board in January 2013.

From September 2004 to January 2006, Mr. Lynch was at Tyco International (Tyco) as the President of Tyco Engineered Products & Services, a global manufacturer of industrial valves and controls. He was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Tyco Electronics, now TE Connectivity, in January 2006.

Mr. Lynch joined Tyco from Motorola, where he served as Executive Vice President of Motorola, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Motorola’s Personal Communications sector, a leading supplier of cellular handsets. Prior to this role, he served as President of the Integrated Electronics Systems sector, of which automotive was the largest market segment.

Prior to Motorola, Mr. Lynch was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Satellite and Broadcast Network Systems segment for General Instrument Corporation.

Mr. Lynch serves on the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, and on the Boards of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (NYSE: TMO); Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI); The Franklin Institute, Philadelphia, PA; and the US-China Business Council (USCBC), a leading organization in building commercial relations with China.

Mr. Lynch has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Rider University, New Jersey, U.S.

 

Terrence Curtin, President, TE Connectivity

President, TE Connectivity

Terrence Curtin serves as President, TE Connectivity. In this role, Mr. Curtin is responsible for all of the company’s Connectivity and Sensor businesses and Mergers & Acquisitions activities.
Prior to this role, Mr. Curtin served as President of TE’s Industrial Solutions segment, which
includes the Energy; Industrial; Aerospace, Defense and Marine; Medical and Channel business units. TE’s Industrial Solutions segment is one of the world’s largest suppliers of components and value-added assemblies for a wide range of industries such as aerospace, oil & gas, factory automation, energy and the medical device markets. 

Prior to his role as leader of Industrial Solutions, Mr. Curtin served as Executive Vice President
& Chief Financial Officer of TE Connectivity. Mr. Curtin also served as the Vice President and
Corporate Controller of TE Connectivity. 

Before joining TE Connectivity, Mr. Curtin was employed by Arthur Andersen LLP. 

Mr. Curtin has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Albright College, Pennsylvania, U.S. and is also a member of its Board of Trustees. 

Robert Hau

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Bob Hau is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TE Connectivity. Mr. Hau is responsible for developing and implementing the financial strategy for TE Connectivity. As CFO, he creates the financial infrastructure necessary to drive the company’s financial direction, vision and compliance initiatives.

Mr. Hau joined TE Connectivity in August 2012. Previously, Mr. Hau served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lennox International Inc. since October 2009.

Mr. Hau served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Honeywell International’s Aerospace Business Group since 2006. Mr. Hau first joined Honeywell (initially AlliedSignal) in 1987 and served in a variety of senior financial and operations leadership positions, including Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Honeywell’s Aerospace Electronic Systems Unit and for its Specialty Materials Business Group from 2005 to 2006. From 2002 to 2005, he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Aerospace Electronic Systems Unit of Honeywell International.

Mr. Hau holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from Marquette University, Wisconsin, U.S.; and a Master's of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Southern California, California, U.S.

John Jenkins

John Jenkins

Executive Vice President and General Counsel

John S. Jenkins Jr. is the Executive Vice President, General Counsel of TE Connectivity. Mr. Jenkins is responsible for the company’s global legal, compliance, corporate governance, government affairs, intellectual property, security and corporate social responsibility activities. He joined TE Connectivity in October 2012.

Prior to joining TE Connectivity, Mr. Jenkins was with Tyco International since 2003 as the Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and International General Counsel. Mr. Jenkins was responsible for the Board of Directors activities, securities and capital markets transactions and reporting, mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation, global procurement, real estate and tax planning. Prior to 2003, Mr. Jenkins worked as a litigator with McGuireWoods, LLP. Mr. Jenkins began his career in 1987 as an Officer in the United States Navy, and continued with the Navy as Military Prosecutor and Senior Defense Counsel, and finally as Legislative Counsel to the Secretary of the Navy.

Mr. Jenkins earned his law degree from George Washington University with high honors and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.

Rob Shaddock

Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Rob Shaddock is Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at TE Connectivity. Mr. Shaddock helps set the global engineering vision for the company. He works closely with business unit and technology leaders to drive all aspects of innovation, development and delivery of advanced connectivity solutions for TE customers worldwide.

Mr. Shaddock also leads the TE Connectivity Engineering Council, which guides the company’s overall technology strategy, product development processes and development of the technology community. He is also responsible for TE’s technology organizations in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Shanghai, China; and Menlo Park, California. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of American Science and Engineering, Inc. (NASDAQ:ASEI), a leading worldwide supplier of innovative x-ray technology solutions.

Mr. Shaddock joined TE Connectivity from Motorola, where he was Senior Vice President of Motorola’s Consumer Products business. Before that, he was Chief Technology Officer for Motorola’s Mobile Devices business. Earlier in his career, Mr. Shaddock served as Chief Executive Officer of Blue Wave Systems, a developer of leading-edge technology for the telecommunications and military industries.

Mr. Shaddock has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, UK.

Joe Donahue

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer President, Network Solutions

Joe Donahue is Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of TE Connectivity and President of TE's Network Solutions segment.

As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Donahue is responsible for all aspects of the company's global operations. He is also responsible for bringing TE’s industry-leading connectivity solutions and engineering expertise to the company’s business and operations in emerging markets including India, China, South America, Eastern Europe, and Africa.

Mr. Donahue serves as President of TE’s Network Solutions segment. Mr. Donahue leads all aspects of sales, development and operations for the world leader in broadband connectivity, serving the telecommunications, wireless, data communications and networks markets.

Before leading the company’s Network Solutions segment, Mr. Donahue led the company’s largest segment, Transportation Solutions. Since joining the company in 1982, Mr. Donahue has served in a variety of engineering, operations and leadership assignments across several industries. He served in overseas assignments in Japan, China and Germany.

Mr. Donahue was employed from 2006 to 2007 by Valspar Corporation as a Group Vice President responsible for the Woodcoatings Division.

Mr. Donahue has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Lowell, Massachusetts, U.S., and a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, U.S.

James O’Toole

President, Communications Solutions

James O’Toole is President of the Communications Solutions segment of TE Connectivity. Mr.
O’Toole is responsible for all aspects of sales, product development and operations for one of
the world’s largest providers of engineered electronic components to manufacturers of consumer products including appliances, smartphones, tablets and other electronics. 

Since joining the company in 2009, Mr. O’Toole led the Circuit Protection business and the company’s former Touch Solutions business, where he successfully drove profitable growth through the launch of innovative solutions and improved operational efficiencies.

His extensive experience includes a variety of leadership positions in supply chain, engineering, product management, operations and general management.

Mr. O’Toole has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Limerick, Ireland.

Steven Merkt

President, Transportation Solutions

Steven Merkt is President, Transportation Solutions for TE Connectivity.

As leader of the Transportation Solutions segment – one of the world’s largest suppliers of connectivity and sensor solutions to the automotive and commercial vehicle marketplaces – Mr. Merkt is responsible for all aspects of sales, development and operations for the segment worldwide.  

Mr. Merkt joined TE in 1989 and has held leadership positions in general management, operations, engineering, marketing, supply chain and new product launches. He was appointed to his current position in August 2012, after serving as President of TE’s Automotive business.

Prior to joining TE, Mr. Merkt worked as a Flight Test Engineer for the F.A.A. and a computer consultant for Rutgers University.

Mr. Merkt holds a Master's of Business Administration from the Smeal School of Business at Pennsylvania State University, Pennsylvania, U.S., and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University, New Jersey, U.S. 

Kevin Rock, President of Industrial Solutions at TE Connectivity

President, Industrial Solutions

Kevin Rock serves as the President of TE's Industrial Solutions segment, which consists of the company’s Aerospace, Defense, Oil and Gas; Industrial; Medical and Energy businesses. Mr. Rock is responsible for all aspects of the segment’s strategy, growth, operations and performance.

Mr. Rock has been with TE for more than 20 years, and his career includes numerous accomplishments. Prior to his current role, Mr. Rock was President of TE’s Aerospace, Defense and Marine (AD&M) business. He established AD&M as a business unit, doubled the business unit from under $500 million to over $1 billion and increased the unit’s profitability. He has played a critical role in acquisitions that have established TE as the leader in harsh environment applications and a leading provider of connectivity solutions to the oil and gas industry.

Joan Wainwright

Joan Wainwright

President, Channel and Customer Experience

Joan Wainwright is President, Channel and Customer Experience. Ms. Wainwright joined TE in 2006 as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications and became head of the Channel Business Unit in 2009.

In her current role, Ms. Wainwright leads a team of nearly 1,000 sales, customer care, pricing and marketing professionals who are focused on growing TE’s revenues, market share and relationships with approximately 300 distributors around the world. Today, revenues generated from distribution sales represent about 15 percent of total TE sales.

Ms. Wainwright joined TE Connectivity from Merck & Co., Inc., where she served as Vice President, Public Affairs. Prior to that, she served in the Clinton Administration as Deputy Commissioner of Communications for the U.S. Social Security Administration. Ms. Wainwright has worked in the communications and public relations departments at the University Health System of New Jersey, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the University of Delaware and Villanova University.

Ms. Wainwright holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Delaware, Delaware, U.S. and a Master's of Business Administration degree from Temple University, Pennsylvania, U.S.

Jane Leipold

Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources

Jane Leipold is Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources for TE Connectivity. Ms. Leipold is responsible for developing and implementing the company's HR strategy with a focus on leadership and talent development, employee engagement and productivity worldwide. Her global HR responsibilities include talent management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, payroll and HR Information Systems.

Previously, Ms. Leipold held various leadership roles within TE in human resources, purchasing, and engineering.

Ms. Leipold is a member of HR50, The Personnel Roundtable and the CHRO Board Academy. She has a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Business Analysis and a Master's of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University, Pennsylvania, U.S. 

Que Dallara, Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy at TE Connectivity

Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy

Que Dallara is Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy at TE Connectivity. In this role, she
is responsible for leading the development of the company’s growth strategies, enterprise
portfolio management and data analytics. Que also serves as a member of the company’s
Operating Committee. Since joining TE in 2007, Ms. Dallara has held leadership positions in
corporate strategy, general management of the Americas Energy business unit and general
management of an incubator business in our Broadband Network Solutions business.

Prior to TE, Ms. Dallara was responsible for Strategy and M&A for Microsoft’s consumer software and services divisions. She was responsible for acquisitions, governance and integration of companies as well as joint ventures. Ms. Dallara has extensive strategy and business development experience at the Telstra Corporation and at McKinsey & Company.

Ms. Dallara holds a Master’s degree from INSEAD, France, a Bachelor's of Science degree in
Applied Mathematics with First Class Honors, and a Bachelor's of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

Joseph F. Eckroth, Jr.

Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Joe Eckroth joined TE Connectivity in 2013 and serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In this role, Mr. Eckroth is responsible for leading the TE Information Systems (TEIS) team, setting the enterprise-wide Information Systems strategic direction, and ensuring TEIS implements key information systems initiatives that support TE’s goals.

Prior to joining TE, Mr. Eckroth was with Hertz Holdings and Hertz since 2007, and most recently held the position of Executive Vice President, Global Customer Care and Chief Information Officer. In this role, Mr. Eckroth also provided oversight to the Corporate Project Management Office, Revenue Management function and Navigations Solutions business, which is the exclusive provider of the Hertz Neverlost units and related services.

Prior to joining Hertz Holdings and Hertz, Mr. Eckroth served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of New Century Financial Corporation. Previously, Mr. Eckroth served as the Chief Information Officer for Mattel, Inc. and two of General Electric’s business units, GE Medical Systems and GE Industrial Systems.

From 2003 to 2006, Mr. Eckroth served on the board of directors of VWR International, a global laboratory supply and distribution company, where he also served on the Compensation and Finance Committees. From 2000 to 2006, he also served on the board of directors of the Orangewood Children’s Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing lifechanging prevention and intervention programs for abused and neglected children and young adults in Orange County, California.

Mr. Eckroth earned his MBA from Pepperdine University School of Business and Management and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of La Verne in La Verne, California.

Amy Shah is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for TE Connectivity. In her role she leads TE’s marketing strategy, brand building efforts, digital strategy and properties, media relations, and internal communications. Ms. Shah joined TE Connectivity in June 2011.

From 1996 to 2011, Ms. Shah held leadership positions at Sapient and SapientNitro. As Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Ms. Shah led the company’s New York office and West Coast business, and served as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to Sapient, Ms. Shah was at Dun & Bradstreet in sales leadership roles.

Ms. Shah holds an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University, U.S.

Jeanne Quirk

Senior Vice President Mergers & Acquisitions

Jeanne Quirk is Senior Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions at TE Connectivity. In her role Ms. Quirk is responsible for driving the development and execution of inorganic growth strategies.

Since 2013, Ms. Quirk has served as the Vice President, Strategy & Business Development for the Industrial Solutions (IS) segment, with responsibility for partnering with the IS leadership team to identify and execute organic and inorganic growth initiatives. Since joining TE in 2000, Ms. Quirk had held a variety of leadership positions in M&A and integration, including leading TE’s
M&A and divestiture efforts from 2007 through 2013.

Prior to joining TE, Ms. Quirk worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers for 10 years where she assisted a broad range of strategic buyers and financial sponsors with their acquisitions.

Ms. Quirk holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University and is a certified public accountant. 

Minoru Okamoto, Senior Advisor to the CEO

Senior Advisor to the CEO

Minoru (Mooch) Okamoto is Senior Advisor to the CEO at TE Connectivity. Mr. Okamoto also serves as Chairman of TE Japan GK, where he provides guidance and direction on governance issues and helps drive the growth of TE Connectivity in Japan.

With over 35 years of TE experience, Mr. Okamoto served most recently as President of TE's Communications & Industrial Solutions (CIS) business. During his tenure at TE, he has held various positions including Senior Vice President of Communications, Computer & Consumer Electronics business; Vice President of Asia and Global Computer; Divisional Vice President and Area Director of Asia/Pacific North (Japan & Korea); General Manager of AMP Japan; Director of Asia/Pacific Marketing and General Manager of AMP Taiwan.

Mr. Okamoto is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce, Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives) and JEITA (Japan Electronics & Information Technology Industries Association) in Japan.

Mr. Okamoto has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stanford University, California, U.S.

Dr. Pierre R. Brondeau

Dr. Pierre R. Brondeau

Lead Independent Director

Dr. Pierre R. Brondeau is the Lead Independent Director of the TE Board of Directors. He has served on the TE Connectivity Board since its inception in June 2007.

Dr. Brondeau has been President and Chief Executive Officer of FMC Corporation since January 2010 and serves as Chairman of its Board of Directors. FMC Corporation is a diversified global chemical company serving agricultural, industrial and consumer markets.

Prior to joining FMC Corporation, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Dow Advanced Materials, a manufacturer of specialty materials and a wholly‑owned subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Company, upon the April 2009 merger of Rohm & Haas Company and Dow Chemical Company, until September 2009. From 2008 to 2009, Dr. Brondeau served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Rohm & Haas Company and from 2006 to 2008, as Executive Vice President of electronics materials and specialty materials of Rohm & Haas Company. Dr. Brondeau joined Rohm & Haas in 1989 as European Marketing Manager for the Plastics Additives business unit located in Paris. In 1991, he transferred to Valbonne, France, to head the Technical Service and evelopment Laboratories.

Dr. Brondeau was promoted to Director of Plastics Additives Research in 1993, and moved to Shipley Company, which was later renamed Rohm & Haas Electronic Materials, as Director, Research, Sales & Marketing in 1995. He held top leadership positions at Shipley Company, including Vice President, Operations and Technology, President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer from 1997.

From 2003, Dr. Brondeau served in several executive capacities in the Electronic Materials and Specialty Materials business. In May 2008, he was elected President & Chief Operating Officer of Rohm & Haas Company. Earlier in his career, he worked at Air Liquide in France.

He is also a Director of Marathon Oil Corporation, and is the Chairman of the American Chemistry Council.

Dr. Brondeau has a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering from INSA France; a Master’s degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Montpellier, France; and a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from INSA France.

Dr. Juergen W. Gromer

Dr. Juergen W. Gromer has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since its inception in June 2007.

Dr. Gromer is the retired President of Tyco Electronics, now TE Connectivity. During his tenure at AMP and Tyco Electronics, Dr. Gromer held a wide variety of regional and global assignments including President, Electronic Components; Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Services; President of the Global Automotive Division; Vice President of Central and astern Europe and General Manager of AMP Germany.

Prior to AMP, Dr. Gromer held various general management roles with Procter & Gamble, ITT Components Group and Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen.

He is Chairman of the Board of the Society for Economic Development of the District Bergstrasse/Hessen; a Director of the Board and Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany; a member of the boards of WABCO Holdings Inc. and Marvell Technology Group Ltd; a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers; and a member of the Advisory Board of Commerzbank.

Dr. Gromer has both a Bachelor's degree and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.

Dr. William A. Jeffrey

Board Member

Dr. William A. Jeffrey has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since March 2012.

Since 2014, Dr. Jeffrey has been Chief Executive Officer and President of SRI International, a research and development organization serving government and industry. Prior to that he served as Chief Executive Officer and President of HRL Laboratories, LLC, an automotive, aerospace and defense research and development laboratory, from September 2008. From 2007 to 2008, he was the Director of the Science and Technology Division of the Institute for Defense Analyses, and prior to that was Director of the National Institute of Standards & Technology from 2005. From 2002 to 2005, Dr. Jeffrey served as Senior Director of Homeland and National Security and Assistant Director of Space and Aeronautics in the Executive Office of the President, Office of Science and Technology Policy. He began his career at the Institute for Defense Analyses in 1988.

Dr. Jeffrey is also Chairman of the Director's Review Committee for Global Security at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Dr. Jeffrey has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Astronomy from Harvard University, both in Massachusetts, U.S.

Yong Nam

Yong Nam

Board Member

Yong Nam has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since March 2012.

Since April 2013, he has served as an advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of Daelim Industrial Co. Ltd., the engineering, construction and petrochemical operations affiliate of Daelim Group, a Korean company. Mr. Nam has served as an advisor to LG Electronics, Inc., a global provider of consumer electronics, mobile communications and home appliances, since April 2011. From 2007 through March 2011, Mr. Nam served as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of LG Electronics. He previously served as President of LG Corp., the global conglomerate of the LG group of companies, from 2006 to 2007, and as Chief Executive Officer of LG Telecom from 1998 until 2006. Mr. Nam's career with LG began in 1976.

He is a Director of ADT Korea, a commercial and residential security services provider since June 2014.

Mr. Nam has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Seoul National University, South Korea. 

Daniel J. Phelan

Daniel J. Phelan

Board Member

Daniel J. Phelan has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since its inception in June 2007.

Mr. Phelan was Chief of Staff at GlaxoSmithKline plc. (GSK), a manufacturer of pharmaceuticals, vaccines and consumer health-related products. He served in this role from 2008 until his retirement in December 2012, following which he consulted with GSK until the end of 2013. Mr. Phelan joined GSK in 1981 and held several other roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Senior Vice President of Operations & Administration, Research and Development.

Prior to his work at GSK, Mr. Phelan worked as an attorney in the labor department at Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell & Hippel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and as a Director of Student Services at The Ohio State University. He also served as an officer in the United States Army Medical Service Corps.

Paula A. Sneed has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since its inception in June 2007.

Ms. Sneed is Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Phelps Prescott Group, LLC, a strategy and management consulting firm since 2008. Until December 2006, Ms. Sneed was Executive Vice President of Global Marketing Resources and Initiatives for Kraft Foods, Inc., a worldwide producer and distributor of branded food and beverage products. Ms. Sneed previously held a variety of other positions at Kraft Foods, including Group Vice President and President of Electronic Commerce and Marketing Services, and Chief Marketing Officer for the company. Ms. Sneed began her career in 1977 at General Foods Corporation, which merged with Kraft Foods in 1995.

She is also a Director of Airgas, Inc., and Charles Schwab Corporation.

Ms. Sneed has a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Simmons College and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business, both in Massachusetts, U.S.

David P. Steiner

David P. Steiner has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since its inception in June 2007.

Mr. Steiner is Chief Executive Officer and President of Waste Management, Inc., where he has worked since 2000. Waste Management provides comprehensive waste management services to municipal, commercial, industrial and residential customers. He previously served as the company's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, as well as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He has also worked as a partner at Phelps Dunbar and as an attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

He also serves on the Board of Directors for Waste Management, Inc., and FedEx Corporation.

Mr. Steiner has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University, Louisiana, U.S., and a law degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, California, U.S. 

John C. Van Scoter

John C. Van Scoter

John C. Van Scoter has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since December 2008.

Mr. Van Scoter is Chief Executive Officer and President of eSolar, Inc., a developer of modular and scalable solar thermal power plant technology, as of February 2010.

Immediately prior to his service at eSolar, he was Senior Vice President of Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI), a global semiconductor company, where he was responsible for the company's Digital Light Processing Products division. During his 25-year career with TI he also served as Vice President for emerging Digital Signal Processor businesses in MP3/Internet Audio and Printing markets and in various product development, manufacturing and sales capacities.

He also serves on the Board of Directors for eSolar, Inc.

Mr. Van Scoter has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont, Vermont, U.S.

Laura H. Wright

Laura H. Wright has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since March 2014.

Since her retirement in 2012 as Chief Financial Officer of Southwest Airlines, a provider of air transportation in the United States, Ms. Wright founded GSB Advisors, to provide strategic and financial consulting to growth and non-profit companies. During her 25 year career at Southwest, Ms. Wright served in a variety of financial roles including Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of Finance, Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer.

Ms. Wright began her career at Arthur Young & Co. in 1982 as a member of their tax staff, following which she became a Tax Manager from 1986 through 1988.

Ms. Wright is a Trustee of Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, a publicly traded hotel and real estate investment trust, since 2009, and serves on the Board of CMS Energy, a publicly traded company and its subsidiary, Consumers Energy, since February 2013.

Ms. Wright holds bachelor and master of science degrees in accounting from the University of North Texas.

The Office of Ombudsman provides regular reports to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. These reports include a summary of significant matters that are under review or investigation in response to concerns raised, in addition to summaries of communications by frequency and subject matter. This approach ensures that concerns are raised to the directors in an effective manner that accurately informs them of the nature and frequency of the concerns.
