Medical Grade Heat Shrink Tubing
TE's Altera line of medical-grade heat-shrink tubing can be used as an aid to delicate catheter assembly processes, such as laser welding balloon catheters, or as a structural element in catheter shaft design. Whether you use off-the-shelf or custom-formulated materials, TE’s expertise in compounding, expansion, and polymer crosslinking can provide you with the tubing to meet your specifications.
TE's Micro-Thermocouples are flexible, fine gauge thermocouples used whenever fast, accurate temperature measurements are required.
Molded Hand Piece
TE has precision molding capabilities that allow you to specify light, ergonomic control interfaces for your catheter device. We can perform custom overmolds and integrate custom switches, controls, and molded interconnect devices into the hand piece.
