Overview

Our Raychem ELB Load Break Elbows 200 Amp are fully shielded and submersible separable connectors designed in accordance with IEEE Standard 386– latest revision. They can be installed with standard hot stick tools, which allow a load make-break operation with a physical disconnect. ELB-200 series is for use on extruded (XLPE or EPR) solid dielectric cable, with a conductor range from #1 AWG to 250 kcmil for aluminum or copper conductors with insulation diameters from 0.370” to 1.060”.

This 200A Load Break Elbow includes a copper top compression connector, which connects the cable with the load break probe. The connector is easy to crimp, suitable for aluminum and copper conductors, and forms a reliable connection.

The ELB-200 series can be ordered with an integral environmental jacket seal molded to the elbow that prevents moisture ingress (part number suffix –ES).
