TE's solderless LED sockets offer a higher level of integration via a solderless connection to LEDs. These sockets mechanically secure and electrically connect the LED to a luminaire without the need to solder. Sockets allow the LED to be directly attached to a PCB or heat sink using a few standard screws. They have multi-point connection, accept optics, include fast attachment features and provide proper orientation.

  • TE Solderless LED Sockets allow the direct attachment of LEDs to a heatsink using standard screws instead of soldering. The TE Solderless LED Socket, Type SMIZ is a quick termination connector system for use with the Sharp Mini Zenigata LED.

  • The Solderless LED Socket, type NL2 is a quick termination connector system for the use with the Nichia COB-L series LED. The one piece connector assembly features the TE poke-in wire termination to wire types ranging from 18-22 AWG wire. Termination to the COB-L LED is simplified with locating features that position the LED into the socket prior to mounting the full assembly onto the heat sink with two screws. The TE Solderless LED Socket, type NL2 eliminates the need to design, manufacture and integrate a complex printed circuit board assembly into the lighting fixture.
