Antennas for Wi-Fi 6E Applications
TE Connectivity (TE) offers a large portfolio of Wi-Fi 6E capable antennas for use in the flexible 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz ISM frequency bands. With a broad selection of Wi-Fi 6E antennas, TE has the right antenna for your wireless applications.
TE antennas for Wi-Fi 6E can support triple bands (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz) which enable extensive bandwidth in WLAN communication. TE's Wi-Fi 6E portfolio offers antenna products that mount externally, magnetically, or via panel and offer IP-67 weatherproofing. TE's embedded Wi-Fi 6E antenna solutions include surface-mount PCB antennas, through-hole PCB antennas, cabled PCB antennas and cabled flexible adhesive mount antennas. TE’s antenna solutions and integration expertise unleash the power of the extensive additional spectrum from Wi-Fi 6E, enabling new applications and services, greater network flexibility, and faster speeds with reduced latency in end devices and applications.

What is Wi-Fi 6E?
Because the IEEE 802.11 standards numbering system can be confusing,
the Wi-Fi Alliance began branding Wi-Fi “generations.” Wi-Fi 6 equates to the
IEEE 802.11ax standard which is the “sixth generation” Wi-Fi standard,
operating in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Wi-Fi 6 also has an “extended”
generation known as Wi-Fi 6E which leverages IEEE 802.11ax in new frequencies
from 5.925 GHz to 7.125 GHz.
What is the difference between Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E?
Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E both refer to the IEEE 802.11ax standard, but Wi-Fi 6E, where “E” stands for extended, expresses that the solution operates in the 6 GHz band (5.925 GHz to 7.125 GHz) of IEEE 802.11ax.
