Unlimited Tubing Length (When Running Parallel to Belt Direction)
76.2
Maximum Tubing Diameter (mm)
Reliable versatility. The Model 105 (M105) tunnel oven offers a controlled process for a wide variety of heat-shrinkable products. As an integrated modular unit, assemblies placed on the mesh conveyor belt are transported through the heating chamber, across a bank of cooling fans then discharged from the rear of the conveyor. It features two upper heating chamber height positions, 54 mm [2.11 in] and 98 mm [3.86 in]. The position is adjusted by removing the pivot pins and relocating them in the bearing stands.
The upper chamber is cantilevered to permit processing of assemblies that require only a portion of the assembly to pass through the heat zone, and is equipped with adjustable heat shields to maximize heating efficiency for various applications. Two stamped foil heating elements are manufactured to a strict wattage specification and consistent temperatures (600° C maximum temperature setting) are controlled by a thermocouple embedded into the upper heating element.

XB 17 and XB 19 Belt Heaters

Add an X factor to your production with our X Series of belt heaters. Our XB 17 and XB 19 belt heaters are engineered to deliver high quality results and superb production performance. These compact, conveyor-style machines offer a more reliable, safer and faster alternative to heat guns, providing a controlled process for a wide variety of heat-shrinkable tubing products. Double-sided timing belts on the top and bottom of the processing chamber draw the assemblies through a thermally controlled infrared heat zone and into a fan-cooled zone before depositing them safely into an unloading bin. Labor costs are reduced significantly because once an assembly is loaded, the operator can begin preparing another. The throughput rate is usually limited by the rate at which the operator can load assemblies into the processor.

65mm
Maximum Tubing Length
19mm
Maximum Tubing Diameter
Reliable, efficient production. The RBK X1 processor is a semi-automatic unit designed specifically for sealing wire bundles, splice terminals and ring terminals. Suited for low volume/high mix production, the machine features long life heating elements, operator key lock/password protection levels and individual selections for installation times, temperature and product size information. It also offers a highly reliable PLC control, short machine depth to accommodate a larger front working area, low profile and sequence processing.
Features
- Automatic centering (standard on select models, but also available as an upgrade for earlier models) enhances product quality by automatically centering tubing over the splice prior to heating.
- Stand-alone operation mode allows operator to set time and temperature
- Sequenced operation mode lets preset times and temperatures be sequenced automatically (and also randomly selected from stored sequence)
- Communication with upstream ultrasonic welder allows time and temperature to be automatically set without operator intervention
- Compact format with touchscreen interface
- Traceability with optional bar code scanner and data collection software
Applications
- Wire bundles
- Splice terminals
- Ring terminals

IR-1891 Shuttle Machine

Speed up production. The IR-1891 machine installs Raychem heat shrink tubing products onto small components, such as ring terminals, FASTON terminals and small connectors. The machine has two workstations and a moveable head. Each workstation is provided with supports for tooling fixtures (specified and ordered separately), which support the work pieces and locate the tubing products.
The operator loads the work pieces into the fixtures on a workstation, confirms that the tubing products are correctly positioned and then slides the heat head into position before initiating the heating cycle. The IR-1891 heat shrink shuttle is provided with closed loop temperature control and the heat head is 'locked' into position by use of an electromagnet during the heating cycle.

- Automatic heating head retraction at end of cycle helps prevent damage to components
- Multiple product fixture assemblies give increased process rates
- Cooling fan above each fixture assembly maintains holding fixture at an acceptable temperature
- CE approved
