TE Connectivity Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions are incorporated into and made a part of the agreement or proposal (“Agreement”) by TE Connectivity Corporation (“TE”) to sell to the named Buyer the goods referenced on the face of this document (“Goods”) and services including, without limitation, any material management, assembly and kitting services, and engineering and design services (whether performed by TE or a subcontractor) referenced on the face of this document (“Services”).

Ordering
What happens after I submit my online order?
We will process your order and then email you the shipping details and order summary. After we ship your order, we will charge your payment method and email you the delivery information, including a link to track your shipment.
Are there any additional costs involved in ordering through TE.com?
For orders shipped to an address within the United States, you are charged – at the time of checkout – for all relevant costs, including the items purchased, shipping/handling, and estimated sales taxes. The actual sales tax will be calculated at the time your order is shipped. Your actual sales tax will reflect applicable state and local laws. All costs are processed through the payment method associated with your order.
If you are shipping your order to an address outside of the United States, you are only charged at the time of checkout for the items purchased and shipping/handling fees. The total will be charged to the payment method associated with your order. All sales taxes, customs or duties will be paid by TE. No additional payment is due upon delivery.
Can I purchase any TE product on TE.com?
Currently, we are fulfilling online orders for thousands of TE products. Over time, we will continue to expand our selection of products available for purchase directly on TE.com.
The TE.com price is different from my company’s contracted price. What are our options?
Our online price reflects current market value. To purchase a product for a contracted price, contact your TE sales representative.

Can I track my order after it ships?
After we ship your package, you will receive an email with the order number and a link to track delivery. You can also find links to track your shipment on the Order History page in Your Account or using our order lookup tool. All TE.com orders are shipped from warehouses within the United States.

When purchasing products on TE.com, is payment expected immediately?
Orders are only accepted and processed after submitting payment information. All payments are processed in United States (US) currency and accepted using a valid credit card or PayPal. To place orders with alternative payment arrangements, call our product specialists at 1-800-522-6752.
When will I get charged for the order?
We will charge your credit card or PayPal account when your order has shipped and send you a confirmation e-mail.
What is the TE Store return policy?
You can return products purchased on TE.com, whether due to a discrepancy in the part or for other reasons. To return a product, submit a return request to TE within 30 days of purchase. Returning a product due to a discrepancy in the part will be handled in accordance with the TE Return Policy. If you are returning a product for any other reason, the return is subject to a 25% restocking fee. Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy against TE for any claim for, or arising out of, any Goods tendered to Buyer is the repair or replacement of the Goods, or alternatively, at TE’s sole election, a refund of the purchase price of the Goods.
Are there any exceptions to this return policy?
Yes. Special Order products – which include custom-designed and made-to-order parts – are not returnable. Special Orders are also not cancellable at any time after the order is placed.
How do I return an item?
To start a return, submit a return request.
When will I receive the refund for the returned items?
Once we receive your returned items at our fulfillment center, all returned items will be inspected to ensure they are in good condition. After verification, we will issue the refund for the same payment method that was used to place the order on TE.com. The refund will be issued in the amount charged for the parts returned including any tax charged on items. Shipping charges and tax on shipping paid for the order will not be refunded. There may be a restocking fee charged for the returned items.
Tax Exemption
Who can make a tax exempt purchase?
Tax exempt purchases are only available for deliveries in the United States to organizations that are tax exempt under U.S. law and provide to TE the appropriate tax exempt documentation.
How can I obtain tax-exempt status on the TE Store?
- Create a TE.com account, or login to an existing TE.com account.
- Place at least one online order from the TE Store using your TE.com account.
- Please add the Seller name as 'TE Connectivity Corp' for your tax exempt certificate to be approved.
- Use the e-mail address associated with your TE.com account to send your tax-exempt certificates (for one or multiple states) to TEStore@te.com.
- Wait approximately 3 business days for our team to process and approve your submission.
- You will be contacted once your status is approved, or you can contact customer care at 1-800-522-6752.
How can I make a tax-exempt purchase on the TE Store?
- Select a shipping address in a U.S. State you have submitted an approved tax-exempt certificate for (tax exempt status only applies to orders shipping within the United States).
- The billing address for your selected payment method needs to be the same as associated with your tax exempt status (at the time of approval).
- Your order tax rate and total will be revaluated to reflect your tax-exempt status.
How can I make changes to my tax-exempt information?
- Call our Customer Care Team (1-800-522-6752) with your new billing address or tax certificate information before submitting a new TE.com order.
- Our team will update your account and associate your tax-exempt certificates with your updated billing information.
Safety Agency UL/CSA/VDE/TUV Approvals
TE parts may have certain Safety Agency approvals such as UL, CSA, VDE, and TUV. When TE parts are purchased through TE.com they may not have the package labels identifying the applicable agency approval markings; however, you may verify specific Safety Agency approvals on TE.com and/or the applicable Safety Agency’s website.
