What experiences shaped your career?

The Finance Development Program (FDP) and being afforded “stretch assignments.” The FDP allowed me to grow not only as a person but also as a professional. In the FDP, I learned how to deal with ambiguity, adapt to change and network. Throughout my career, I have had a number of people challenge and advocate for me to move on to new and more difficult roles. These individuals made me think more strategically about my career and ultimately my professional aspirations.

What do you enjoy most about working at TE?

The portfolio of products is captivating and exciting, the company culture is phenomenal and the executive leadership team is world class.  Unleashing our peoples’ potential is an internal mantra after which I model my management style. TE realizes its most valuable asset is its employees and takes strides every day to ensure their employees are inspired about working for TE.

What concepts and ideas excite you?

How sensing technology is beginning to infiltrate every aspect our lives.  Our product portfolio is positioned to reinvent the way people interact and live.  TE is at the forefront of most major trends impacting society from autonomous vehicles to minimally invasive medical procedures.
