Our reluctance resolvers are designed to detect synchronous electric motor rotor position by scanning magnetic fields. The Multi-Coil Resolver (MCR) is made with several coils assembled on the stator, and connected with a PCB. The MCR is used for smaller diameters and is typically used in dry applications. The Single-Coil Resolver (SCR), with winding directly on the stator, is designed for applications in oil. The SCR is used for larger diameters, has a reduced thickness and can also work at extreme temperatures. The performance of our resolvers ties directly to range extension of e-machines. Both the MCR and SCR are typically protected with one or two covers and are available with cable and connector. Our sensors are designed and manufactured to exacting specifications, often on a custom basis.
