Overview

Our VCXI Bimetallic Shear Bolt Lugs feature our shear head bolt technology. The aluminum barrel of our bimetallic lugs features an integrated shear head bolt which ensures that the correct torque is applied. Consequently, optimal contact force is generated and connection resistance minimized. No specific tools are required, and only one bolt is needed to ensure the tightening of these bimetallic shear bolt lugs. The inner surface of the aluminum part is grooved at the manufacturing stage and greased to ensure effective electrical contact with the conductors to be joined.

Our Bimetallic Shear Bolt Lugs are designed to connect an aluminum conductor to a copper bar in low and medium voltage applications.
