Overview

TE’s Raychem cable accessories are an important element in energy networks and the MXSB’s most popular application today is the use in wind farms to connect turbines into a single distribution ring or to connect to solar power grids. It is especially due to MXSB’s short and space saving design that it is perfectly suited for environments where space is limited. The MXSB kits are based on a joint design using mechanical connectors for conductor and shield wires supplied with the kit. As a result of the shearbolt technology, this system is easy to install since no crimping tool is required. 

Reliability and performance are essential when it comes to customer demands and the MXSB branch joint meets this demand by exceeding international performance standards including CENELEC HD 629.1 S2 or IEC 60502-4 for joints.
